XANDER
@suburbanhells
it was only after an hour of badgering at three in the morning did the producer of ‘camp crystal lake’ convince xander that he had to be the one to welcome his newest costar. he was bitter, in all honesty, because it was the need of a ‘fresh face’ that got his girlfriend’s character killed off and got whoever this person was supposed to be hired. so when it was ten minutes into shooting time, and everyone stood around aimlessly awaiting the new face, it was xander they sent to the trailer that had once been casey’s to fetch the newbie. after angry banging on the door for a solid two minutes, xander cleared his throat. “i know you’re new here, but it’s kind of hard to welcome you if you haven’t even shown your face yet you know?”
knees tucked into her chest, evie pressed her small frame against the trailer door. nervousness was not nearly an adequate enough word to describe the sensation that made her heart violently thud against constricted ribs. although strained, vocals rise from a throat that felt as if it was closing. “just... just another minute, okay?” already the mental berating had begun, the first day of her ‘big break’ and she was already unprofessional. slim digits swiped away the wetness from beneath red, post-makeup eyes, smudging sheila’s handiwork in the process. a sigh escaped as she caught sight of herself in the mirror, attempting to summon the courage to get over her fears and begin the rest of her life. cracking her door open the slightest amount, earthy hues meet the ocean for the first time. holding the other’s gaze, it’s hard to come off as anything other than meek. “sorry about that. you don’t happen to have any makeup wipes on you, do you?”
