Yandere Sentence Memes (Part 2)

Nelly stared at...what could only be described as another Nelly in absolute shock. Her eyes bulged as she studied every detail of the others face. She could have been a perfect carbon copy, well, not counting her feathered appendages.  She wanted to run back home and yet she also wanted to reach out to touch the other to make sure they weren't just some figment of her imagination.

Well it wasn't every day that something crashed landed outside of the little town Nelly resided in. Well, not since James had finally learned to land properly. A few residence had taken notice but Nelly was the only one brave enough to venture out into the woods. Most people asumed that it was probably some small plane, and being that their job was to avoid as much human contact as possible it wasn't wise to venture towards a place that would draw attention quickly. Still, Nelly was curious and she kept a careful distance from the strange object from the sky. 

Oh, man, did she look pretty when she was flying. That soft smile settled back on his face again as he watched her touch down in front of his house, almost forgetting to do so himself. He landed with ease, beaming when he realized that he hadn’t fallen on his face in the process.

Nelly had only caught a small glance of the puppy during the end of the Christmas ball, and this was the first she had really seen of him up close. Now that she thought about it, she had never really been close to any dog before being that she was almost always on the road prior to her move to Summerbrook. She took a few careful steps towards James and lifted a hand hesitantly, "..can I pet him?"

"Aw, come on, at least wait for me!" he shouted, running after her and launching himself into the air. He gained some altitude, careful not to hit any buildings on his way up so that he was free to move his wings. With great effort, he caught up to Nelly. "Jesus Christ, how are you so fast?!" he shouted over the wind flying past them.

"Practice!" She yelled back, laughing. She spun around and looked bellow at the town. It had grown so much even since her own arrival, that it was surprising that it was the very same place she had limped to for shelter. 

His smile turned into a smirk as he stretched his wings out. “I’ll race you,” he said, looking around for a good place to take off. Flying always, without a doubt made him feel better. 

"A race, huh..~ Well catch me if you can~!.." she laughed taking only a mere couple of steps before leaping into the air. The cold hair sent her skin into goosebumps but it felt good to be in open air again. 

Listening quietly as she spoke, a small smile crept its way onto his lips. She sure knew what to say to make him feel better. He reached out a rough hand to grab Nelly’s delicate one. He let out a deep breath of air, turning his head to look at her with a smile and a nod. 

A grin swept across her face along with relief that he was alright. Her hand squeezed his for a moment before she looked ahead of the road and said softly, "Lets not keep Green Day waiting..."

He looked up from the ground, biting his lip. “I didn’t really… mean to leave,” he began, “I meant to just get out for a little, go for a fly, anything other than sitting in my room. Convinced Dana to come with me, snuck out. Found out why my parents didn’t want us out in public.” His wings extended ever so slightly at the thought of the memory.

She didn't know what to say after that. The negative feeling growing inside the pit of her stomach continued to grow as the conversation went on. It felt so odd to see him so upset, even if he was masking it well.

As the silence drew on for what seemed like hours, he looked to the ground, wondering what Nelly was thinking. It certainly wasn’t anything that one would expect of him. His sister, maybe, but not him. He was never quite sure, however, if people pitied him, felt sorry for him, or if they were just plain shocked. He didn’t want pity, though. All he wanted was the freedom to explore and move about that he currently had, thanks to Ace and Yama. 

"...how did you finally leave?" she asked, looking back at him. She hoped that he truly was fine, and not just saying that to cover up his own emotions. She already felt guilty enough with asking the question in the first place. But curiosity was egging her on far too much to be satisfied with only that answer. 

James grew quiet for a moment, scratching at the back of his head with his free hand. He would have thought that someone would have told her already—DeAndre, he figured. Maybe they’d thought it wasn’t their business to explain or something, but he supposed it didn’t matter all that much.

Nelly grew quiet when her boyfriend responded, and she stared at him as if waiting for a different answer. Not getting one, she looked down and blinked in surprise. Locked up for that long..? James of all people, locked up in one place for his entire life?? The very idea sounded completely out of character for him and yet explained so much. 

It took a moment for the show of affection to register in his mind, and once it did, a shade of bright red flooded his cheeks. Although he attempted to keep cool, he was sure he was anything but, currently. Dear god, did he hope that the twins didn’t see him like this. He’d never hear the end of it.

Her head slid against his shoulder and she looked up at him, taking in his reddened face in the morning light. "No.." she answered, giving herself time to look back ahead of the path they took. "I moved around too much for a pet...we never stayed in any home really."

He did as he was told and waited quietly for Nelly to return, glancing inside the door for a brief moment. It was a little bit odd still, going to visit her here instead of heading a couple doors down from his room. Being adopted was, of course, everything he had hoped for, and he was sure Nelly felt the same way, but he couldn’t help but feel a sense of guilt for accepting Ace and Yama as his parents, when his blood parents were most likely still out there somewhere.

Nelly nodded with a warm smile, talking his arm a bit as she walked along side him. So much change in so little time. They had both moved up in the community literally over night. James could be practically considered royalty, and Nelly was also close enough to nobility with her father on the counsel. 

He felt his face turn red at the kiss that was placed on his cheek and he rubbed at the back of his head. Was this what it was like to be flustered? He didn’t like it. It felt weird. He slipped his hands into his pockets when she pulled away, glancing inside with an anxious edge to his expression.

"Oh..." she responded, her smile fading a bit. He was right though. Staying inside would mean awkwardly sitting on the couch for who knows how long watching the fire. Taking this into account, she retreated into the house quickly before letting out a quick, "Wait here..~"

He wondered if she didn’t want him there when she stared at him for what must have been at least a minute. He sat in awkward silence as he waited for her to speak, make a noise, anything, finally opening his mouth to say something but closing it again when she began to speak. 

Her head finally shifted up towards his and she quickly kissed his cheek. He'd thought of her just as she did. She felt flattered to say the least. Pulling away a big from the hug, she smiled softly at him. At least he didn't seem too awkward. 

It was odd, living in such a large place. His home before Summerbrook was cramped at best, hardly enough room for four people to be living there. The orphanage had been roomy, but with so many people living there it wasn’t all that much better than his house prior to being captured. This house, however… it was almost big enough that it didn’t bother him to stay inside of it. Almost. 

Nelly sat up at the sound of someone at the door, her heart climbing up into her throat. Finally, someone to take away the dreariness of the winter afternoon. She climbed to her feet and made her way to the door, opening it with a small smile.
