Newish? At least I’m not the only totally new person around here. I was afraid I’d be the only one, the whole ‘new girl’ thing, you know? So it’s kind of a relief I’m not. It does seem like a good place, from what I’ve seen so far, and everyone I’ve met is lovely. Oh, they’re Mark Leaders? I’ll have to look into that, I’m not too sure what those are, but I’m guessing they’re sort of there to help if it’s needed? Nice to meet you, Stevie.

Oh, you’re a volunteer? That sounds pretty fun - what is it you do? I think I’m settling in okay. It’s different, but I think it’ll be good for me. Still a little overwhelming though.

In admiration of the Cinderella musical play, thing– I have decided to go all out with a bang and coordinate a party for everyone to be invited to, staff and resident!  I have bought 30 pizza’s there will be vegan options! We have cake and cupcakes are pastries along with non-alcoholic beverages to help yourself too! We are going to be playing some live music at the beginning of the party and to top it all off, I found the original Cinderella movie to play!  So, come dressed in your best Cinderella or posh costume and we will dance and eat the night away, if anyone has any suggestions I can put together for the food, like fruit or salads or sandwiches, let me know!  I look forward to seeing you all there! 

It seems as though I missed a pretty fun party. I mean, pizza is always a good sign of a party. Did you have a good time? I’m sorry I missed it.

I wanted to take a moment to explain to you what I do … I am a registered sex therapist I specialize in helping people find out their desires, their wants, and how they want to be as a sexual being. I work with couples, singles, polyamorous, and whoever else would like to use my services. I help people understand what they’re feeling, what they want to do with their partner, their past sexual traumas. Also, I deal with helping people who are having trouble performing. I am here to help people realize that sex isn’t a bad thing and we shouldn’t be afraid to talk about it. I’m hoping to help whoever needs my assistance and never be afraid to reach out to me I am a safe space for you to come express your desires, and how to spice up your sex life. My office is opened to you whenever you need. 

You’re a sex therapist? I can’t say I’ve heard of one of those before. I don’t really.. have experience with sex or desires, so I’m not too sure what you could do to help me. Sex is... I don’t know. Although I feel as though I could learn a lot from you, Miss. I’m not too sure what, but it would probably be good for me to learn at least something about sex and kinks. Do you, like, run classes or anything?

I’m challenging myself to be more vocal about my emotions, so I guess this is appropriate. Today was hard. But, I have enjoyed the rain, though. Rain is nice.

I can’t say I’m familiar with them or that song. What makes them have some of the best? You’ll have to show me.

I wanted to add my two cents to Daisy’s post ( here ) regarding the women’s space being vandalised. I am both furious and heartbroken. If the culprit’s intent was to hurt the people who need that space, I hope they’re satisfied in knowing for the short term, they’ve succeeded. Rest assured, we will repair what’s been broken and the people responsible will be found, and they will be punished. This type of behaviour doesn’t come without consequences.

I would like to make it clear that no residents are to take dealing with this into their own hands – If I see any petty arguments, insults or violence being threatened to anyone suspected of involvement, I will come down on you as hard as the vandals themselves.

If there is anyone who would like to come help with the beginnings to tidying this mess, please let me know. 

I’m very sorry this happened, Miss. I did see the post and I was very much looking forward to the space. I’m happy to help you clean up, just tell me what you need me to do. I want the space up and running as much as the next person.

Anything popping off tonight? Not that I could be much crazier than I am, but my limits are getting pushed hard by these four finely decorated walls, if I do say so myself. Speaking of which, this guy has two thumbs and also needs a roommate, so…Let me know about that, if you’re interested. I’m just as bad as I seem, promise. ;)

I’m almost a little scared to admit that I’m still awaiting a roommate. What exactly makes you ‘bad’? You’re not going to like, I don’t know... murder me in my sleep or anything, are you?

Okay, not to panic anyone. But I sent in my thesis today for my doctorate and we will have to wait for another 10-14 days for the board to get back to me to see if they agree with it in order for me to get my doctorate and start my residency here at the Sanctuary! 

Oh how exciting! What will your doctorate be in? I’m sorry if you’ve said it before, I’m still very new around here, Miss. 

Since I am finally settled I decided to give myself a proper introduction. My name is Mercedes Jones as you probably know. I’m a submissive resident here at Dalton! I’m a singer as well. I’m finally getting around to deciding what things to do. Thank you for being so accepting, and i’m looking forward to spending time with whoever will allow me. Oh, and I should add there’s a lot to work with on my body to say the least … lots don’t want the curves so.

Well, hello there, Faith. There’s nothing wrong with taking a few days to familiarize yourself with everything. I hope that means you’re settling in? I’m Carter, a switch– though no title is necessary unless it’s something you prefer– and I’m a visitor who is just taking advantage of the services and things offered here.

I think it was needed. I’m not really familiar with this type of environment and I was homeschooled so it’s taking a little while to get used to. I think I’ll avoid the title for now, if that’s okay - again, they’re not really something I’m overly familar with and if you’re happy for me to just call you Carter, then that’s fine with me. I think I’m fairly settled now, though I am finding it a little strange too. How long have you been using the services here? Need to know what I’m signing myself up for.

Hi, Sir. Um, yes I decided to become an official resident. It made the most sense, it’s not like I have anywhere else to go and as you know, I’m pretty clueless about most of the whole mark thing. I wasn’t really taught about it much so it makes sense to try and get some help and understand a little more. I think I’m settling in okay. It’s all very different and a little strange but the few people I’ve met so far have been very nice to me. And I’m given plenty of space if I get overwhelmed, so that’s a bonus too. Thank you for checking on me, Sir. I appreciate it.
