Lovely Eco Ethical Macbook cases and upcoming review

Got a refurbished Macbook last year. The last lasted 10 years, and a Dell laptop I bought didn’t work from the get go or properly (i.e. at a speed of my laptops 10 & 20 years earlier) EVER, so I’m a Mac fan for now, as owning our laptops longer helps environmental Sustainability.

so I’ve realised it’s best to donate it in the UK (as unfortunately I’m not like to start sewing myself these days-my back already spends too much time hunched over a computer and I need to Get OutDoors!).

“You can donate fabric scraps to TRAID (take to a shop or recycling bank or arrange for free collection). They reuse the scraps for their ReMade label of new garments, donate it for workshops in their educational programme or if the scraps are absolutely un-usable, send them for recycling into shoddy cloth (for rags and such).

We reuse pretty much everything in the Here Today Here Tomorrow shop but when scraps do get to the end of their life it's nice to know we can take them to TRAID and they won't go to the landfill! http://www.traid.org.uk/  “

Keep waste out of landfill, but also support it going to potentially wonderful training, or even beautiful new Upcycled uses!
