Or just like take a real voice actor at least Idk. I get the "let's give a chance to someone else" idea : in France our Harley Queen voice actress changed and it was actually amazing. But give the role to someone whose job is being a voice actor, give these people some recognition ! You wanna take actors because you think we like them so much and sometimes it's true but if it doesn't work it just doesn't work. Recent example, I prerty much like Chris Evans, I think he's a great actor and all. He didn't convince me as Buzz Lightyear and I'm not afraid to say it. Voice acting is not an easy work and being an actor doesn't mean being good at voice acting, it's not the same exercise. But at least you could say that Evans actually tried. Pratt didn't even and it's very much disappointing. Why would you make Mario of all people speak with the most generic voice ever ? Where's the flavor guys, where's the acting ? Honestly it just seems a bit lazy to me and I'm kinda glad I'll get to watch it in another language.
