if you start watching star trek season 1 episode 16 “shore leave”  at exactly 11:59:33 pm on december 31st, kirk will say “dig it in there mister spock” as the clock strikes 12 and i think that’s truly the gayest way to start 2018

listen spock can complain about his parents being gross in public all he wants but you know the second he and jim get together it’s all “t’hy’la” and “ashayam” and finger kisses to such an extent that when he and jim visit vulcan together for the first time after their wedding sarek & amanda have to sit spock down and talk to him about how “we know you’re very proud of your bondmate but we just don’t think that Vulcan’s ready to experience the full force of your PDA so you need to tone it down a little bit, ok?” and even after that jim & spock STILL almost cause a riot thank u for coming to my ted talk
