luna was in the middle of assisting a client when she heard the door open, seeing cel entering wearing skates and with a bag in hand, a smile quickly made its way to her face. as she looked at them a second too long, she snapped herself out of it when she realized she was still in front of a client. they’d just finished a reading, and was now just guiding them on how to approach certain things that popped up during the reading, which only took a few more minutes. once that was done and over with, luna waited until they walked themselves out of the shop to approach the counter where celina was waiting for her. leaning against it, she rests her head on her hand, smiling sweetly at them as they started talking. “feed me? you sure know how to get on my good side huh? thank you though that’s so nice, what did you bring?” she asks curiously, tilting her head at the question. “you know, it’s been going well, but i think now that you’re here it’s going much better. how about yours? how’s the skating life?”

“i was seventeen and i’d just gotten my driver’s license. so my brother lets me take his car to school this one time so of course i offer my crush a ride home, as soon as we get out of the parking lot i was so nervous and distracted by her that i ran a stop sign and totally crashed into the side of my teacher’s car. needless to say she never got in a car with me again.”

“it was in college, girl was tryna make me move to new jersey with her like...that just ain’t gonna fly with me y’know? i had to be there for my mama and i don’t think she was understanding that very well. i mean, who willingly moves to new jersey anyway.”

“it was either mia thermopolis or jackie burkhart, i can’t remember which one was first so they both make the list.”

Luna: oooo, yes ! you know i am !!

“do you? then i think it’s very convenient to be your friend.” now that might have sounded like a joke, but in all honesty that was a great bonus to a friendship and clearly something luna didn’t mind. “maybe. to be fair, i’ve drinking and i’ve been told i’m a little meaner so there’s that.” not that being drunk was any excuse to be an ass, plus she wasn’t really drunk just yet, but she thought it’d be relevant  to point out. there’s a soft smile hanging from her lips as she watches celina trying to explain what they meant, she didn’t really need an explanation, and truthfully was more than alright with the term of ‘friends’, because who was to say what friends were and weren’t allowed to do? and if there was anything luna wasn’t looking for was definitely labels. “well let me take a rain check on that babe.” she replies rather sheepishly, quite honestly flattered that they liked her enough to say all those things. “no need to apologize. you sure are cute when you ramble anyway.” reaching up for a quick peck on their lips, she lets go of them, moving to the side. “please, we don’t any accidents. and of course, you know we can.”

“hmm that’s what i heard.” she replies, aware that it wasn’t meant to be answered but decided to anyway. as riley pulls away, she turns over to lay on her stomach as well and proceeds to scoot closer to the girl after doing so. “well you’re the one praising me.” ok maybe that wasn’t exactly what riley was doing moments ago but that was the point. bringing a hand up to play with her hair, she brushes it off the other’s face to lean down and give her a quick kiss. “i suppose you’re alright too.”

it was no secret that luna could come off as blunt most of the time, rarely ever feeling embarrassed by things most people would. she did believe in not holding anything back, as long as it wasn’t something offensive and rude, of course. a smirk pulls at her lips with riley’s words, she wasn’t exactly cocky but comments like that surely boosted her ego a little bit. “especially with me?” she repeats her words, though with a teasing tone. squirming just slightly at the feeling of the other girl’s lips against her neck. “well lucky you then.”
