“It really is lovely.” Morgan leaned back, her arms stretched out behind her and supporting her. She tilted her head back and closed her eyes. Enjoying the feeling of sun on her face, she hummed. “Snow is pretty. Then it melts and you get slush. I’m, personally, not a fan.”

“I guess I could at least give it a chance.” A clear mind would definitely help him sleep whenever he actually had the chance to. Even if it didn’t work, it’s not like he had anything to lose from giving it a try. “Hell, I might even be able to come up with an actual solution with a clear mind.”

Morgan laughed. “It’s certainly a thought. Solving problems rather than avoiding is advice people often given out. I’d suggest it as well. She said. “Clearing your mind is, yes, probably very helpful with that.”

“i gotta agree with you there – i ain’t too fond of the cold no more, it’s too much sometimes.”

she supposed, in a way, she could RELATE. her interest hadn’t lay in the occult, or anything in line with such a thing - she’d wanted to be a hero like her mother, and it had led her down a path of vigilante justice that had been the best ( and sometimes worst ) time of her life. she knew what it was like to dedicate herself to something. moreso even, than that, she knew what it was like to want to know it all and be the best. when she thought about it like so, sia didn’t have half as much trouble in understanding MORGAN. “i would love a reading - so long as i’m not cutting in to anything of more important you may be doing, right now.”

“I don’t really care for tea. I prefer sleeping and hoping everything will resolve itself while I’m unconscious.” That hadn’t actually worked in the past, but he was still hoping that it miraculously one day.

“You could try meditation if you don’t like tea. It’s just as calming. A clear mind will probably help much more than sleeping.” Morgan hummed. Her own problem solving methods weren’t much better than sleep, more reliant on what she thought the universe was telling her to do than what she should do.

“i’m more of a dog person.” it seemed like a kind of cruel aside, and it was only after it had LEFT her that morgan version two realized. morgan was only sharing a LOVE, after all ; and there was nothing wrong with that. brief consideration aside, it didn’t take long for her to clear her throat and add, with easy confidence, “there are cats in outer space, though. things that LOOK like them, anyway. close enough, right?” 

“You’re not wrong.” Most of his lessons seemed to be aligned with other events, and they had to come from somewhere - the easiest explanation was the universe. “It tends to teach me things at unwanted times, though. Need to give it a calendar, scheduled days off.”

Morgan laughed. “I’ll be sure to let the universe know next time it is in the mood to listen.” Not that it often was. Or ever. She had dedicated her time to listening to the universe, to deciphering the smallest signs into a understandable message. “We could all use a break every once in a while.”

“You’re the youngest of three – the others being boys. They should’ve known what they were signing up for if they made the mistake of hurting you. That’s just like, the law.”

“It still seems a dramatic. And no one really hurt me. It’s just the feeling that you may not. It’s probably the universe trying to protect me so you do not have to ‘ cut ’ anyone.”
