Lauren's POV

As Echo International Jumpers is growing, more staff is needed! Especially riders, apparently. So please welcome Roy - in the black shirt)! I am pretty sure Bill - even thought quiet - is pretty excited to finally have a male rider colleague. You might have seen Roy before though. He has worked for/with Vivian for some years now as a Groom alongside his wife Camilla and his older brother Gabriel.

These days he is getting to know the horses he will be working with. Today he got acquainted with Jet (BOE Operation Jedi), the newest face in the stable (horse face anyways). Other than Jet, Roy will be responsible for Krinklehoff. He is soon old enough to be broken in, and for now he can be trained from the ground.

He also has his own horse Maharaja Grace of the East, whom he has boarded with us, and will be training in his free time.

You're feeling a little adventurous today! You grab a neck rope and skip the bridle, how will this go?

Apparently Tuthio has a natural talent for cordeo/neck rope riding, or he is just very well trained, who knows? I am his rider and trainer after all, so some of the credit must fall to me. Just joking around though, I did not break him in after all. I only bought him after he was both broken in and had learning the basics of Jumping. I just love my gorgeous boy, definitely a very good choice as my first horse <3

(Also gave me an opportunity to let him wear his new green set! xD)

Lately Vivian has worked a lot with young Hiro. He will reach 4 years of age in a few days. They have gotten to Vivian being able to ride him around in walk with loose reins, and trotting in a lunge line. Next step is trotting without lunge line!

A dog spooked your horse and you went flying!

Today was rainy, yet somehow still sunny, when Jane, her daugther and I went on a heck. Suddenly a black dog - with no owner anywhere to be seen - ran up to us, spooking Chromatica. Bhumi honestly wasn't that happy about it either, especially not when said dog began jumping up at the horses. Luckily Fireboy seemed to stay calm, and definitely not soon enough the owner of the dog - heavily out of breath - arrived, and got their dog, so we could continue our hack.

What I hadn't seen was that Jane had fallen off of Chromatica at this point, and the mare had run off. So what to do?

Lauren's POV

These days we have been very busy. The new generation has reached 5 years of age, and getting them to shows and all that is definitely keeping every single staff member busy. But today the busy-ness was slightly less busy. Because a few days ago a new horse arrived. His name is Tashiro, and is after Vivian's favorite - now retired - stallion Taiwan and an old mare of ours: Equador.

Hiro - as we have nicknamed him - is almost 3 years old (he will be 3 in the next few days), and as good as ready to be broken in. Today Jane and Vivian decided that a little weight on his back wasn't gonna hurt him. I took this picture of course.

Lauren's POV

I got the honor of playing camera (wo)man today with the newest stallion of the herd. Please welcome SYL Continental Blues Z aka. Gary-Lou! As some might have deducted he is a Zangersheide, and Vivian got him as an import from Linn Wilde! Very excited to have an actual SYL-horse in the stable, even if I won't be the one riding him - that honor falls to Tanya, who was down to riding, training and competing with only two horses.

Got the two lovely shots down below from Tanya and I's hack in the area around the facility, and finishing tacking up before said hack.

LSR Hot N Cold has been popular this breeding season, and it has only just begun! He is a Bay Tobiano (with nW) Trakehner stallion who has a fair share of points in especially Show Jumping. A loyal stallion you can always count on, in the show arena and outside of it!

Lauren's POV

These days the weather is getting better and better. Both people and horses are enjoying it a lot. Our outdoor jump training arena has finally been rid of snow, and isn't under water anymore, so today we pulled the obstacles out there, so we could do some outdoor training.

I started just watching Vivian, then later on I went to the pasture to collect Silver, so he could get some training as well.
