A new boy has moved into the stables. Another Knabstrupper since Vivian is apparently - and obviously - crazy about the breed, and thought we needed more. So this is Pollock also called Polly (even if he is male), and he is of course a spotted knabstrupper. I can almost hear Vivian's words about my phrasing there: "You think I would have a solid coloured Knabstrupper? Are you mad?"
Anyways, so Taiwan has finally gotten a more permanent pasture buddy in Polly, and has welcomed him with open... arms? Does horses even have arms? Sounds too weird to say "with open legs" though xD
He was very easily excitable about the ladies living in the pasture just across the road, and kept calling to them. Princess of course was getting moody about this young stallion and his frisky personality, while her buddy Equador didn't really care much - she just watched curiously from a distance.
Apparently today was a spotted ride, as I was allowed to ride Taiwan. Which is seriously a big declaration of trust from Vivian. I am just happy to have her trust, and kinda teared up when she handed me Taiwan's reins, before getting on Pollock's back herself.
It was a nice trail ride with a good stretched out gallop around midway through it.
Vivian is clearly happy with, and proud of, her knabs. And I am just happy with whatever makes her happy. It's her money after all, and if spotties makes her happy, then I would let her buy them all. Oh, and she asked me yet again, if I wanted to move in. This time I had had some more time to think about it, and I said yes. It will be nice to wake up to her beautiful face every day, even if our relationship isn't like what relationships are the most!
