Something happened to Skylanders back in May i haven't seen more people talk about.
May 2026 was when readcomiconline.li shut down, likely due to them pirating millions of comics for anyone to read. Them shutting down means the Skylanders IDW comics have disappeared in terms of public access, and regardless of your opinion on them, it really fucking sucks.
Sure there's some reuploads on the internet archive, sure there's a website where you can pay $5 a month to read them, but still.
And how many more comics are gone? How many more lost to time? How many come back from the brink of lost media because of these sites but now lost again?
And for a series like Skylanders where we haven't gotten new content in years, and these comics haven't circulated since then, it's even more upsetting.
My only hope is somehow, somewhere someone is able to republish everything so we can access this stuff again. But until then, I'm mad. You should be too.
