i’ve been internally screaming about nine legends since monday 2am.

•meeting up in the library in the morning and talking while planning the day

•sitting together in silence while working but still touching elbows or knees and feeling the comfort of each other’s presence

•comparing schedules to see when you can spend time together

•drinking way too much coffee or tea together

•helping each other understand an academic concept and smiling+giggling because your s/o is so smart are you are so proud of them

•planning a date but cancelling it in place of napping together because you’re both tired

•being frustrated when life is busy but ecstatic once you get to spend time with them

•chilling at campus cafes in between classes

•finding time to see them for twenty minutes because you miss them

•feeling proud of them when they do well on a test

•comforting them when they do poorly on a test

•whining about school, then making out and feeling better

biodiversity is one of my least favourite topics in biology 🌿 we are so close finishing the biology content for this AS year, can’t wait until i no longer have to make new notes and i can just revise 🌱

Hi there lovely - a very happy Christmas to you :) Here are a few tips on how to use an iPad for studying:

Use the calendar to plan your days. The built-in calendar app is the perfect tool to use for planning ahead. You can add your classes, fill in upcoming deadlines, note down any public holidays during which your school/university is closed, and fill in any personal appointments using a color-coding scheme of your own making. You can even set it to give you reminders when things are due, so it’s a perfect digital planner!

Use the iBooks app for all of your class materials. The built-in iBooks app is perfect for keeping all of the PDFs of any class materials that are available online! I would recommend renaming the PDFs to “classname-date-filename.pdf” as you download them, so you can easily find what you’re searching for once you’ve copied them onto your iPad.

Use the OneNote app to take notes. I’ve never personally used this app because I prefer to take my notes by hand, but I’ve come across it in many videos and posts by others. You can use the OneNote app to colour-code your notes, write them by hand with an Apple Pencil, type them out on your computer and later sync them to your iPad, etc. etc. It’s ideal to keep all of your class notes in one place!
