20,000 words of notes and drafting later I have finally conquered my latest essay! I’ve titled it ‘The Transideological Politics of Irony: Disrupting Historiographical Metanarratives in Morrison, Rushdie and Hatoum’, but who knows what I have actually argued at this point :’–)

263 | I used to keep track of the books I read in a physical journal, but I’ve pivoted pretty hard to Goodreads. Maybe I’ll go back to the physical copy.

5.2.17 Doing some reading with @lightninginthecolliednight! It’s a rainy day and we’re watching the world go by with some lunch. I got the best mark I’ve ever gotten at uni yet on my recent work and I am so happy! We’ve started a new human geography unit and I’m finding it really interesting.
