Thought it’s about time I introduce myself on here, so here I go:

My name is Laura, but you can also call me Lauri, it kinda has a nicer flow to me. I am 22 (since 3rd of april) and study environmental engineering.

I made this studyblr to kick my own butt when it comes to studying. I want and have to be more productive and get better at studying. I just changed from a technical university to a university of applied sciences since my mental health has suffered quite a bit because of uni and some other stuff that has happened in my childhood. Maybe I’ll also post a bit regarding my mental health and what I do to try and stay on track, but I’ll first wait how my therapy is going (been there since december last year).

Here are some facts about me:

English isn’t my first language, but I’ve been learning it since I was about 5, so it feels like my mother tongue. I also currently tutor a 14 year old boy.

I like reading books. My favourite writer is Sebastian Fitzek. I wanna read all of his books one day :)

I try my best to stay happy and positive and I love making other people smile

I listen to kpop, rock, latin (currently stan cnco, bc UFF), metalcore and post-hardcore and such

I am half-dominican and half-german and currently taking spanish A1 classes at uni. I grew up with both spanish and german (and then also english), but I never really picked up on the talking part in spanish, so I can just understand a ton. Now I wanna change that and be able to speak as well.
