I know I don’t post much here because I’m so busy at uni, but here are some lovely photos of me in the forest.
🎄
Nothing quite describes the feeling of finally being where you have always wanted to be. 🍂
6/11/20 sorry for long time no update, I’m in the UK, at uni, and I’m absolutely loving it. We are doing a lot of drawing this week so here is some of my work. These are from the other day when we were practicing faces.

My-Darling-Boy’s Autumn Fog
Autumn is here and I’ve made a sweet, simple tea latte to keep cosy on cold nights!
Ingredients:
✧ ½ Tbsp/7 grams honey
✧ Your choice of chai tea
✧ 1 cup/240 mL water
✧ ¾ cup/180 mL milk
✧ ½ Tbsp/ 7 grams sugar (feel free to add more if you like! The drink isn’t too sweet!)
✧ Cinnamon (for topping if using milk froth)
Process
• Start by finding your favourite cup and add the honey to rest at the bottom
• Using a method best for you, heat at least 1 cup of water in a separate container in which you will steep your tea as directed by the tea’s box
• Meanwhile, heat ¾ cup of milk. If using the stovetop, heat milk in a small saucepan and add sugar when milk is warm to the touch. Continue to heat until the milk is steamy and bubbles form along the edges of the liquid. Don’t let it boil! If using the microwave, heat in 30 second intervals and add in sugar when milk becomes warm to the touch. Continue to heat until milk is hot.
• (Optional) If you own a milk frother, pour the hot milk into the frother and pump until the milk has doubled in size with foam; remove the mesh pump. Let rest for at least 1 minute
• Once your tea is done steeping, pour into your desired cup over the honey and stir to combine
• Pour sweetened milk into the tea. Taste to check if sweetness is to your liking!
• If using a milk frother, scoop sweetened milk foam left at the bottom of the container onto the top of your drink and dust with a few taps of cinnamon!
🍂 Happy Autumn! 🍂

UK Student Visa
Today the biggest piece of my international student journey fell into place, my visa!
Unfortunately because of COVID, my entire visa prosses has been even more stressful than it normally would have been.
It began when I got my CAS statement, which serves as proof of my place at a university in the UK. I received my CAS on July 23rd and I filled out the online portion of the tier 4 student visa application that afternoon. At the end of the application, you schedule a biometrics appointment, where you will have your fingerprints and a photo taken.
The application centre near me that provides biometrics opened on the 27th, and I was able to get an appointment for the 30th.
I drove an hour to my appointment, which only took about 10 minutes, and then mailed in my application to be overnighted to the visa processing office in NYC.
I was told my visa would take three weeks, which would mean I would only get it around a week before I’m supposed to leave.
But to my surprise, yesterday afternoon I received an email from UPS saying that my return shipping label had been dropped off and would arrive to me the next day.
Having heard nothing on the status of my visa, I was a little nervous. But this morning my passport arrived, with my approved visa inside!
I’m so happy that my visa arrived earlier than expected, as that was one of the main things causing me anxiety. Now all that’s left to do is pack, and get on my flight.
See you soon Wales.

Can’t wait for summer to end and autumn to wisk me away on my adventure to university 🍎🥧

Is anyone else waiting for their visa right now? It’s giving me massive anxiety 😕
