The Easiest Way to Study for Exams at University
Just wanted the share the most time efficient and effective method I’ve used over the last 2 years to learn exam material with minimal effort and no ‘revision period’ required.
Split your screen between your powerpoint and Quizlet
Copy and paste the headings of each slide or important key points into the Term box
Copy and paste the corresponding information into the definition box (this takes less than half an hour per lecture)
Set aside 15 minutes daily to play the Quizlet matching game to start to learn the information
Nearer to the exam start to use this time on the flashcards function to test yourself (you will already know most of the information by this point)
It works so well that you won’t even need to do any extra studying at the end of term.

[Drawing of a hedgehog in an apple costume saying “Everyone isn’t doing better than you.”, a hedgehog in a lemon costume saying “You’re doing great.”, a hedgehog in a peach costume saying “And you still have time.”, and a hedgehog in a banana costume saying “It will be okay. You got this!”]

Nighttime Checklist on a School Night
Alarms set for the morning (triple check)
Go over what’s written in your planner and see what’s marked down for the next day/what you need to do
Back pack ready to go with all materials
Clothes laid out (if you want to be really proactive)
Laptop/phone is charging

Coffee/tea ready to brew (if needed)

- diagrams and flowcharts are really helpful (especially for bio)
- it is very important to put keywords in your answers to questions. Teachers will often take off marks for jot including a specific term/word
- test yourself by teaching others and explaining a concept out loud
- research current news or events related to whatever topic you are studying at the moment
- clarify any misunderstandings with your teacher
- go over any pracs or experiments completed to enhance your understanding
how to get rid of clutter
go through your belongings and get rid of what you don’t need. donate books you know you won’t read again, and donate old clothes you never wear anymore.
in the book “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up,” the author Marie Kondo says to only keep the things that spark joy. otherwise, donate it or throw it away.
find all of your old papers. do you really need all of your math worksheets from seventh grade? probably not. if you tend to hang onto lots of old papers, look through all of them and recycle the ones you don’t want.
go through your laptop and phone. delete those history readings and old handouts you don’t need anymore, and get rid of apps you don’t use. these things tend to pile up and eat up all of your storage. re-organize all of your files into clearly labeled folders.
get rid of toxic relationships. don’t keep people in your life who are making you unhappy. find ways to distance yourself from them and you will likely feel a lot better.
clear your mind. write your thoughts in a journal, go for a walk or a run, or take a warm bath. find ways to calm your thoughts and decompress.

Hey guys, so I’ve been receiving a ton of requests to show my photo-editing process. It’s a little hard to generalize what I do since every photo or photoset undergoes a different process depending on what vibe I’m going for. Despite that, I do have a basic editing style - if you will - that goes something like this.

Hope this helps :)
