20.03.2020 ⁠— some calc lecture notes from before school closed… life’s been a bit chaotic these past few weeks, to say the least.

day 1 of finals revision. that’s a horrible way to put it and I’m trying not to think about it all like that because finals have been a 2 year process and this is just the final push - but it really is the final push! it’s been a bit hard to get my brain in gear but I’m sure that’ll come in the next couple of days. can confirm that new desk is great to work at when I actually bother! hope you’re doing ok!

trying to establish new routines now during social distancing and working from home. 

I had my first online lecture today. It was definitely interesting, but overall it was pretty much the same. The platform is designed pretty well that we can talk too if we want to, or just make it clear using reactions etc if we’re getting it or if we’re confused. The lecture itself was a pretty tricky one (as evidenced by my ruined nails from anxious habits), but really it could have gone a lot worse. We’ll see how this goes for the next few weeks at least!

07.05.19 // this was me doing some revision over the bank holiday weekend (I feel like adulting is defined by when you start appreciating bank holidays 😅). It’s exam period & I’m worried that I’m running out of time, but let’s not go there… I’m being kept busy on secondary care placement, which is a good distraction. The days are long (8am-6pm), but I love learning from real patients so much!

Today is the study day. I hope all weekends are the study days for you.

So my torts final is on Thursday and I’m sick with the flu atm ugh. I can’t defer this exam so I’ll need to sit it whilst ill! I’ve never had to take an exam whilst sick before… any tips for getting through a three hour exam with the flu?? 🤧
