i've largely had a productive week! some days i randomly get really exhausted and have to nap for hours to recover, though. i also feel a bit lost in my group meetings, like i am not making as much progress as people in my research group. i have a year but i hope i submit a really strong phd proposal. i'm struggling to find grounding with my pet project at the moment.

i keep forgetting to take pictures to post and then forgetting to post at all, so here’s some shots of the book i’m working on rn (human acts by han kang, my fave). it hurts to read but it’s so, so so enlightening i keep wanting to go back to it

yesterday i presented my paper at a university conference and it almost sparked a fight between the panel moderator and an audience member so that was interesting !
