correct: ä = ae ö = oe ü = ue (and ß = ss)

INCORRECT: ä = a ö = o ü = u

Leaving out the dots can actually change the meaning of words. Examples:

schwül: muggy, sticky schwul: gay [homosexual] ächten: to outlaw achten: to regard/respect sb./sth. schön: beautiful schon: already, yet

master thesis adventures #31

Not only my big reread and reorganization of all the information has come to an end, but I also had an email exchange with my supervisor. I finally have a loose index and structure to work on and some more things to read. I have yet to answer to the last email but having this sort of structure feels unreal. To be honest I cannot wait to start writing the first drafts of my chapters.

Got really into the readings for my master's in history & doing some additional reading on the side to keep me hyped. Featuring a very aesthetically pleasing but slightly squished chocolate croissant.

Spent most of this invigilating season in this room with the same chief and it was lovely, some of my favourite people and locations I've worked with in this job. :)
