21: Then there’s tongue

❝Three different wielders?❞ He found it surprising, really, to hear someone have that many different masters. Dp only had Sora and even before that, he had another master before him, sure, but not three. ❝Jeez, Midnight. What was it like switchin’ between them?❞

“Weird and strange. I got along better with Master Aqua however, I knew I wasn’t meant to be wielded by her. She already had Rainfell and she only summoned me when she trully needed an extra boost.” Midnight said.

 “ I see, it is nice to meet you Stroke of Midnight. Apologizes but may I call you Midnight? ”

“Of course you can.” She replied. Icy blue eyes went to the ground. She was used to be called that after all, why would she mind?

“Not quite. There is still Xehanort and his thirteen.” 

“He’s still out there?!”

“You uh.. don’t have to call me Master…” It felt weird to be called that, it didn’t fit and made him feel more important than he was. “And you can uh… do what you want you know… I don’t have to tell you okay?” That also felt… strange to him

“You are my master and wielder, I’m supposed to do as you wish, Ventus.” Midnight said. She bit her lower lip. “Do you wish me to return to my keyblade form? Would that make you more confortable?”

“Still that…really sucks,” she says, and eyes briefly flickered downwards. “Do you miss him much?” she questioned, meeting her gaze.

“I do... Part of me to be able to be weild by him one last time.” Midnight replied. She shook her head. “But that’s in the past.”

❝Oh? He did? Do y’have another master then?❞ He asked as he folded his arms on his chest, a habit he got from his master. Being around him had earned a lot of new and obnoxious habits and DP isn’t all that sure if he likes them as much as his master does. ❝Y’can call me DP! My master’s Sora. Nice to meet ya, err…what’s your name?❞

“It’s complicated. Three Keyblade Wielders have taken interest in me and I answer when they call upon me, but they all have their own keyblades.” She said. “Nice to meet you DP, I’m Stroke of Midnight, but you may call me Midnight if you wish.”
