a deep hollow growl rips through your abdomen and you groan softly, pressing both hands to your belly. your stomach churns furiously, sending delicious little flutters all through your empty tummy…
it takes a while for your stomach to quiet down. the deep growl knocks a few smaller rumbles loose and your tummy squelches and groans before finally letting out a gurgly little whine…

We've always been a fan of having OC couples of which one of them lays on the other's belly frequently. They proudly proclaim it as their favorite spot, or sometimes they just naturally gravitate towards it ...
Maybe it is their perfect place to rest simply as a pillow, but with most of my own characters being creatures, there's inherently more to it. Perhaps they are more sensitive and receptive to touch thanks to their fur or feathers, so feeling their partner's stomach rumbling would be a comfort. Perhaps their keen ears find the content, busy gurgles of a full gut digesting soothing. Perhaps kneading their claws into their partner's stomach could help with a stomachache, or digestion, or even coaxing more grumbling out for their own indulgence ...
I also love the trope of Character A resting on Character B's stomach as B stuffs themself silly. They get to rest there and listen to all the wet sloshes and grumbles as more food enters their beloved ... Feel their usually thin tummy begin to bulge out into a nice, pleasant curve they can run their paws over ... Notice the shifting of air from deep within their gut before it's all pushed out in an explosive, satisfied belch ... How lucky A is to have been blessed with such a partner
Goodness, I need to see more characters who favor laying on stomachs. A plethora of beautiful scenarios could come out of that ... But we will absolutely be doing our due diligence to ensure that trope is perfectly occupied~... 🧡🧡🧡
