… he doesn’t even care. she could take all his mail from the start of his career to the end of it and it wouldn’t worry him at all. hell, half of what he gets he doesn’t even read, his manager taking the time to feverishly check through everything and put a filter on what gets through to him. from those letters, only the tiniest amount get a reply back, something to boost up his down to earth persona a bit more.  … so why is this irritating him so much ? 

“ i bet there’s a lot of personal things in those letters. real personal, meant for my eyes only, and you’re looking at them like some kind of treasure. you sick freak, wish it was you that girls were fawning over ? “ 

Sapphire’s smug smile didn’t fade for a moment before proudly speaking up in response. “I don’t need to wish they already do~!” She spoke with confidence before digging her finger into the letter in her hand, and ripping it open without much care, her fingers dug inside pulling it out as her eyes scanned over it before her expression paused, head tilting for a moment. “You’re such an asshole.”

he didn’t know why he expected anything to be easy with her, ever. with a loud sigh, he drags his hand across his face, giving her an expression of palpable disgust. “ it’s not like i want all of it, you know. i’m only here to check if you’ve gotten a. drugged or b. poisoned from eating through the cookies they give me like the trash digging zigzagoon you are. “

a short pause. “ you want me to change the address, right ? obviously. find anything interesting while going through my things ? “

She paused, lips pressing together flatly and looking at him like he was something of an idiot before she finally spoke up again after the second of judgement. “Oi. Just because I’m as cute as a zigzagoon doesn’t mean I dig through trash and eat anything I see. Stuff your god complex and save it for one of the fans that sent you their dumb declarations of loooove.” Sapphire said as she went to dig out a letter, waving it with a smug look.

oh, well, he was going to ask sapphire if his mail was being delivered to her accidentally, but the absolutely monstrous amount of mail filling his neighbors letter box all but confirmed it for him. taking the tiny package from the mail pelipper sitting at her door and trading the pokemon a treat in return, he waits for the bird to fly off before rapping his knuckles against the door, waiting for her to answer.

about: Sapphire can be something of a handful to those unfamiliar with her: she has a brash attitude that doesn't hold back anything at all. She can be rather quick to leap onto people, joke about them, or even belittle them. She doesn't hold back no matter the person she comes face to face with which is easily reflected in battle.  However, she can be surprisingly considerate to those she's close with or even some strangers under the right circumstances, while she can be mean she has her moments where something almost sweet and genuine can shine through her attitude.  She tends to treat pokemon very well, a side affect of her working with her father Professor Birch from a young age.
