How ironic this Pride Month has been for me.
I had a deep conversation with my sister about how I have dated women before and how that might be what I prefer.

I don't know. I feel like I should've kept quiet about that part, I've kept quiet for years, but I also felt like I wanted her to know this about me. We've been doing so good at rebuilding our relationship π

I forget about the time difference between where I live and my penpal in Korea. I keep looking at my phone, and it's 2 PM where I am, and I forget it's like 3 AM over there π
Not much progress on my weight, BUT I have been doing some strength training, and I can say, with certainty, that it does look my arms are toning up a bit and I feel stronger. My workout I usually do I use to do only be able to do 8 minutes of, but now? I can go about 12 minutes π
And that little bit of progress makes me feel better. I can squat lower and hold a plank for almost a full minute now! This is the strongest I felt in a long time and I've been drinking more water and feel healthier, even if my weight progress isn't exactly where I want it to be.

I think it's really sweet that my brother still asks for permission to watch certain animes.
We had this system set up to ease our parents' worries about him potentially watching anything inappropriate.
However, there's almost something weird and fan servicey in anime, especially the main popular ones.
I sat him down and explained that I'm fine with him watching anime, but he had to understand that some animes have inappropriate themes.
Like incest π Why is there so many jokes and characters written around being perverted towards their younger sibling???
He asked me about Black Clover and I said that's fine, but I had to explain to him the reason I dropped the anime was because I couldn't get over that stupid side character who had a crush on his sister and he had, like, a WHOLE arc dedicated to him.
I told him that as long as he's aware of that and knows that that's wrong, and that guy is a major creep, then I didn't have any issues with it.
Like, he's not a main character, but why? π Why is this such a common theme in animes? Like, Mei Mei I could understand (to an extent) to show how corrupt she is, but I feel like we could have portrayed that differently.
I stopped Beyond the Boundary for creepy brother.
I don't care to start Spy x Family because I know they use that joke.

I have always struggled with my romantic/sexual identity. When I was younger, I really struggled with internalized homophobia, unfortunately. I was being raised in a conservative household and when I first suspected I had a crush on a girl, it sent me into a full panic.
Luckily, with some loving and patient people in my life, and the support I found on the Internet, I'm more confident in who I am π₯°
No one should have to feel ashamed of who they are and who they love.
There's a space for everyone, and if you don't feel like you fit one label, then that's fine! It's okay to just identify as queer or "not straight."
Personally, I identify as queer and asexual. I don't feel comfortable with a romantic label, but I know for sure I struggle with intimacy.
The whole point about the LGBTQ+ community is accepting who you are, not trying to mold or force you into a category.
Just love yourself!
Because if you can't love yourself, how the hell are you going to love someone else? As a wise queen once said π«‘

Just heard and saw an owl for the first time- and it scared the shit out of me.
It was hooting, but also making this growling noise before flying right in front of me.
Reminder, I live in the woods. I thought I was getting a visit from a cryptid.

But today is my grandfather's and grandmother's 45th anniversary, and she died two years ago.
