You cannnot convince me that Maysilee and Wyatt didn't spare a small moment of trying to comfort each other in the train after they were denied their family's goodbyes that Haymitch just didn't get to witness and that's why they're low-key tight the rest of the book

i have a very particular scenario in mind where wysilee were already dating previously the games, but they don't really talk about it. so everyone's just "hm weird behaviour but what else to expect from these two". and people move on. but you know who wouldn't? haymitch. he would be like 😑that's sus😑 all the way from the reaping, the train and the dorms. because obviously, wysilee doesn't talk about it, but they know eachother and more important: they care about eachother. and its fucking obvious. i imagine, then, haymitch would've try to take anything from wyatt, because he seems easier to deal than maysilee. which is not true, wyatt doesn't answer his questions properly. but does he give up? not a chance. wyatt gets tired of it and goes after maysilee like: hey haymitch is annoying me. and she would be like: ok got it. next thing you know, mays is standing in front of her much taller And scared boyfriend, "protecting" him from now also scared haymitch. she points on his face, and says: what the FUCK do you want with my boyfriend, haybitch?
