STRANDED MERMAID

There is no mistaking the gorgeous sound that we have grown to love from Swedish band Stranded Mermaid, their latest release is an epic and apocalyptic indie ethno track and we’re excited to get their newest track If Dragons Could Cry in our inbox.

Stranded Mermaid hail from Småland, Sweden and are producer duo Louise Lindenger and Håkan Persson, along with Nathanël Bartolo on drums, bassist Gustav Magnusson, guitarist and former bassist Andreas Bohlin, percussionist Jens Torvaldsson, vocalist and keyboardist Matilda Westergren and violinist Veronika Jönebratt.

The band performs a dirty, yet beautiful and atmospheric sound inspired by the western movie soundtracks of the great composer Ennio Morricone and folk music. The members share a great passion and vision for the sound, and produce the music on their own.
