When Armageddon uproots one's life, it can push them into meeting the most bizarre people. In Es/en/in's case, he got stuck living in a stranger's house and was roomed with a man who claimed to always be cold, despite the heat. It wasn't only the cold that bothered him, though- he was quite sickly on top of that, leading to a near constant stream of shivering, sniffling, and sneezing from the poor thing. Es/en/in found his presence horribly annoying, but at the same time, there was something oddly captivating about that man. He just couldn't put his finger on it.
