I can't believe home depot literally produced a wildly successful science fiction musical and we all just pretend it didn't happen. on one hand yes it had a boring white guy main character but like.... home depot just... Made it? And it had shit ton of box office sales? and no one even talks about this. this is like avatar (2009) all over again

OK so. After a lot of frantic googling I realized this was all a dream. home depot did not in fact produce a wildly successful science fiction musical. I was on allergy meds and took a nap and my brain simply prophesized this. slightly disappointed because I wanted to watch it.

I don’t think Nintendo could’ve ever predicted the insane black market economy that would explode forth from their simple children’s game through a combination of the social media era and everybody being locked in their houses with nothing better to do right now. There are entire websites dedicated to trading and selling items, turnips, and even villagers. People have reversed engineered the game’s code to crack the turnip pricing algorithm. People are hiring bouncers to guard their islands when they invite over visitors to conduct trades. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an experiment in pure, cutthroat, anarchocapitalism.

A fish trying not to get eaten wouldn’t slow down when the “predator” slows down. It also wouldn’t constantly swim in a circle near the edge of the tank; It’d try hiding. Also a fish in a tank in a a public place that is constantly filled with people is not likely to see people as predators.

Animals, I think people tend to forget, also enjoy playing.
