Day 7: a character that you feel the need to defend- nine

"Oh! Right, washing up." He pushed back from the table, gathering the last few bits from their meal and joining her at the counter to help in washing dishes. He scrubbed with the same distracted look on his face, thoughts still heavily on their mission, now that they had one, such that he was surprised when there was not another pan to grab once he’d washed the last one.

"Do we have enough supplies Doctor, to make it to that town?"   She was glad she had a sonic, it would make things easier.   At least they could look after one another this way.   She smiled and nodded at the dialer.    "That will most definitely help."    They had a lot of items that they would need in the long run and she was proud that he was always preparing for any and all situations.
