I took a drive tonight to listen to this album. I was waiting to listen to it until a night like tonight, because I know that if she were still here, we would have done it together. We both loved rainy nights in the car with a sad album, a full pack of cigarettes, and someone to listen to it with. I think she would've liked this track best.

This is the last place I saw her. It was the first and only time she came to my apartment. We had a homemade taco party and watched a dumb netflix horror movie. I held her. I think we came out here 2 or 3 times that night. She loved that I had my own little porch to smoke on. It got dark and rainy, and we took an extra chair out here so we could sit together and listen. It was hot, and she was sweaty and shaky. I held her hand. She told me it was hard. She told me she was trying her best. She told me she was thankful that I was there to listen. She told me that she felt safe here, with me. When she said goodbye, she said she'd come back soon. That was one month ago, today.
