(A poem, through the voice of my daughter)

My mother, so darling and kind,

In your faith, I dare to find,

Through every ordeal, every storm,

You've sheltered me, held me warm.

Though father's voice has gone away,

Your courage has illuminated each day

With love and grace, you held us tight,

Guiding us through each day and night.

In your gaze, I've seen my way,

Driven by your light, each ray,

In your love, we find our way,

Eyy, you're not 20 anymore..😄 Katakot no..patanda ng patanda ang edad..😆 But, it is what it is. The age ‘twenty one’ is like telling you to no longer relax, no longer walk but run. But why would you run when you can ride a tricycle? (capacity nga lng) 😂 I know life isn't always easy for us. But that's where the fun is. We try to find ways and means to make it a little easier. When you are deeply consumed with all the things that you need to tackle and there are moments when you stop at your track because you don’t know what to do next. Don't fret, there's nothing wrong with that. There is no rule that requires you to always know what to do next. And there's no rule that you need to be the best in everything. Just go with the flow of the universe. Everything will flow wherever they are intended to flow...thats the law of the universe.

Dont be too hard on yourself, slow down, rest, and relax if you must. I want you to laugh as much as possible at the jokes made by your friends and even by my own old-fashioned jokes. I want you to continue spending your monthly money on the things you like and filling your stomach with different types of food that you love...(kung kaya ng pera🤭)

Don't be controlled by people’s opinions or people’s words..they will just be opinion, dont make it bother you. When anxiety and self-doubt start to creep in and threaten to thwart your own personal goals, remember to just believe in yourself..in what you are capable of. Feel good. Look good. Do better and always trust the process!

Thank you for being brave and strong. Thank you for being able to go this far. Hang in there. You are allowed to outgrow yourself even if you are a ‘twenty one’ person. Don’t be afraid of change. Just live in the now. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Bhing! I love you, always! 🤗😘💚 #Ayem21
