i’m so tired of being told that what female fans want in men’s sports is more fashion and champagne and over the top displays of wealth and wag content when really what women want is, like, a sport where the managers and players and marketers and male fans aren’t raging misogynists

is anyone else annoyed that "ai" encompasses both chatgpt and tools we train to do repetitive tedious work for us. and by the ripple effect of articles like "scientists develop ai to detect cancer early" that make people argue for the merit of chatgpt or become anti-medicine. and by the general state of the world and society

i guess if the sport is ontologically evil then you can keep the bar in hell but I PERSONALLY WOULD LIKE TO GET IT OUT OF THERE

i think the conundrum of TLG is that it offers the happy-go-lucky plot solution of 'what if true love solved everything!!', but the foundational narrative conflict and character motivations for the couple in question are that: 'true love does not solve everything'. like, it's super cool when you decide to pursue a plot that runs counter to the conventions of a genre, or plays with it metatextually in a queer commentary sort of way! but when it's a, pursue counter plot without analyzing WHY it is counter situation bc the smut is actually what you wanna focus on, then the violent-homophobia-mentally-ill-losing-your-legacy plot suffers under the constraints of HEA, and it all becomes a bit dichotomous. you know?

it meant something to me! maybe that can be enough
