i used to think like this too. but the implication that you are embarrassing yourself is entertaining a notion that a voyeur is steadily dwelling on the actions of one individual. out of hundreds of thousands. it’s a very self-centered thought process to assume that your fractional moments are so noteworthy and memorable. i don’t consider fleeting and perfunctory ticks to be of a defining nature because who am i to decide what is and what is not normalcy. existence itself is subjective; from beliefs to the concept of morality. what is normal to the spider is chaos to the fly. embarrassment is a made up sensation cultivated over time. it is man made and merely a form of paranoia; a product of insecurity. get out of your own head and enjoy life with me out here friend. there is truly no freer feeling.
