In 1979, Günter Artz built a monster. He took a Porsche 928 chassis and V8 engine, then fitted a custom Volkswagen Golf Mk1 body over it. Around 21cm wider and 30cm longer than a standard Golf, this 240 hp beast could top 140 mph. It looked like a Golf on steroids. Only two were ever made.
