Welcome, welcome, my dear Sherlock friends. Itās December 2016, only a few weeks away from Sherlock Series 4 and if my predictions are correct, there are going to be a lot of people joining Tumblr and researching TJLC very, very soon. Iāve been on this site for the past year contributing analysis of the subtext of BBC Sherlock and it all points to one thing: Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are finally going to be living happily ever after out of the closet.Ā āTJLCā refers toĀ āThe Johnlock Conspiracyā which means the belief that the creators of BBC Sherlock have been planning since day one to make this story into a homosexual romance, but are doing so very slowly and very carefully as to not frighten away a largely heterosexual audience. In other words, because they are writing a romance to be taken seriously and not written off asĀ āthat gay Sherlock Holmes remakeā before anyone gives it a chance, they left clues in the subtext to show the audience what Sherlock is actually about. The true Victorian way. However, this list is to be viewed after series 4 alongside those of the other meta-writers online to create a more comprehensive list.Ā
This list is purely some ofĀ what Iāve written over the course of a year to complement what was already here. Some metas are short, others long, and a few are satire. Nothing here is meant to make fun of anyone, only to inform. Thereās seven years of code to sift through, so you better get started. First lesson: Cell phones are hearts, tea is gay, and guns are dicks.Ā
I truly hope you enjoy all of this.
