My first stim toys! I say first because when I got diagnosed, they were the only fidget or stim toys I owned. I have 3x3 and 2x2 Rubik’s cubes and a 3x1 Rubik’s edge. I’ve been wanting a 4x4 and a 5x5 for years, but they’re expensive. While cheaper options exist, I already have the Rubik’s brand ones and hate the idea of having puzzles that don’t match. I like solving and unsolving these, especially the 3x3 because of the noise it makes. I also like that if I’m fiddling with a Rubik’s cube, I don’t have to make eye contact when talking to people.

How I Got Myself to Take Meds Regularly

I take antidepressants and ADHD meds, and I’m really bad at taking them. People kept saying, “Set alarms!” but that just wasn’t working.

I stumbled upon this product by accident. I got into Pusheen recently and found some Pusheen PopSockets, so I went to the PopSockets website. Remembering that I enjoyed fidgeting with my old PopSocket, I checked out their other products. And I found this.

It’s called a PopGrip Stash, and it was the perfect solution for me. A reason why I don’t take meds is I have to get up to get them, which, at times, is too much work. I would put off taking them and end up forgetting. Since I usually have my phone on me, this PopSocket makes it possible for me to take my meds at the same time on the dot, which I usually can’t do.
