Guys I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Eddie loves Richie! LOVES him! So fucking much!!! He’s not always a little bitch to him, he is kind and caring and affectionate and supportive and affirming!!!! I love the bickering dynamic too but damn give Richie a break every now and then, he’s sensitive! Sometimes he makes a stupid joke and Eddie is just overwhelmed with affection and has to full-body smother Richie on the couch to let some of it out. Eddie holds his hand, tells him he’s handsome, makes him hot chocolate with WAY too many marshmallows when he’s sad even though Eddie thinks it’s gross because that’s the way Richie likes it. He’s a good partner! He still gives Richie shit but mostly he gives him love and THAT’S the representation I want to see people!
