Well some of you are. Not all. But some. And those who are give those who aren’t a bad reputation among other members of the society and give your opposition heavier ground to stand on.

Why don’t you like it?

Because when people hear someone's a "hardcore feminist" they always assume it with "oh, those are the girls who hate men". 

Well lass, I’ve been ta more countries t’an I can count on me two ‘ands. Along wit’ t’at I’ve heard me share o’ t’ose sort o’ songs. Maybe e’en ‘ad one or two ‘bout me. When I was more o’ a lad, I didn’t care, just sum bloody women singin’ rubbish. But t’ey all really ‘ateful towards men. Which is fine—ya can ‘ave yer own opinion, but when a lad sings t’e same sort o’ song wit’ t’e words ya use—people get pissed. What ‘m sayin’ is—it’s really one sided. 

It's not one sided at all. Look, I don't hate men and I don't say it's their fault at all. It's the society's fault - no more, no less. They've been raised like that, women have been raised like that, too. But it has to stop.

I’ve just seen some pretty crazy feminists. Not saying you are. But hard-core isn’t necessarily a bad thing. 

But most people think that we're crazy because we're "hardcore".

That’s a shame, hardcore feminists are my favourite kind of feminist. Though obviously I’m all for the less intense ones as well. We kind of need them all.

I just don't really like the word hardcore, I don't know. But yes, we need every feminist.
