"You know, as much I love hosting parties, it is nice to see Gossip Girl take the lead. She might not know how to write, and more than likely uses some form of AI to help spread her lies, but at least she knows how to throw a party and I give her props for that." @ggstarterblog

Cressida stood near the edge of the bar, her gaze drifting over the crowd as if she were searching for something more interesting than polite conversation. A faint, knowing smile touched her lips as she lifted her glass, clearly entertained by something no one else seemed to notice.

"I mean, it's always dull here, but then again, I have been trying to know more about my fae-side and coming up short so there is that." He shrugged and looked at Cressida. "I'm surprised you don't have something fun up your sleeve."

"Oh, yeah, I don't know." She shrugged with a smile. "I guess I am low key kind of liking it here. Don't judge me, okay? It's nice to not have to worry about anything that I would have to worry about if I was back in Kildare." @ggstarterblog

"You say that like it's a bad thing, Kiara." Sterling laughed. "Manhattan has a lot more to offer than Kildare does, and you know I'm right."

"Thank you, Sterling." Amber smiled at him and then laughed. "Maybe, I'll go there again, I don't now yet."

"Would you like to go back to Coachella?" He raised a brow at her. "How are you doing though? I feel like it's been forever since I last saw you."

Jenny couldn't help but laugh at Sterling's words," Tell me, Sterling, has there ever been a scenario where you tell a woman to breathe and it actually worked?" She wondered, amused.

"I mean, one time my cousin went into labor and I told her to breathe and I think it worked out pretty well." He said with a laugh.

Xaden laughed. "It's...it's a catch twenty-two to be honest. I don't entierly hate it here, but I do miss Navarre, well, Tyrrendor more than anything, but Manhattan isn't so bad. Violen...Violet is here and so are Garrick, Rhiannon and Imogen, so I think that helps a bit."

Sterling nodded. "Well that's good that you have some people you know here, that really does make all the difference in the world." He said. "How long have you been here for?"

"Sterling, I am going to need you to get with the program and watch the show, it is truly amazing."

"Historical dramas have never interested me much, so I never wanted to watch it. I have heard it's good though."

Jenny raised an eyebrow at his statement, " Kind of obvious? Be careful not to confuse fact with feelings. Just because you know what a fae is doesn't mean it's obvious for everyone else. I wouldn't have asked if it was obvious to me."

"Jenny, breathe, I was teasing." He promised her. "I understand it's not obvious to some people."

"Thank God you need one, but even if you didn't, you were going to come drink with me." Kai said with a laugh. "Uh, fuck, anywhere, you know I don't care."

"I would never argue with getting a drink with you." Sterling agreed with a chuckle. "How about that new rooftop bar that just opened?"

"She's okay, but I can tell she's hurt about what happened." She said and looked at Sterling. "You still care about her, don't you?"

Sterling sighed and said, "I never meant to hurt Briar and I hope she knows that. I didn't find out that I was half-fae until after I left St. Jude's, it's been a wild ride for me too. I hate that I don't have any answers for her."

"Good, I would hope not, especially because I could use some advice on dating from someone who I know won't sugar coat things with me."

Sterling cocked a brow and a smile came onto his lips. "Do tell." He said. "Are you still pining over the youngest Astor?"

"My business is going great." Adrianna smiled at Sterling. "Though, I will say that having to interview this new generation is such a pain in the ass."

"That's great to hear, Adrianna." He said with a smile. "Well, yeah, most of them don't give a fuck about anything."
