Natasha nods. "Well hopefully your ears are okay now, right?" She asked. "I can't imgagine how overwhelming it can be for anyone with Fae hearing to live in one of the busiest cities in the world."

"They are, yeah." Sterling nods and looks at her. "It sucks, well, at least for me, it doesn't suck that badly. I can't imagine being a whole Fae and having to deal with it more than I do."

"Oh trust me, I know, but at least when I was helping JC, she was actually doing something different. It's just pathetic now."

"It was only a matter of time before they got pathetic and honestly, I'm not surprised that it's happening now."

"You are part fae? All right, that's actually really cool" Logan nodded. This city got more weird "Sorry to hear. That sucks to not know about your family. Maybe she is not saying anything to protect you?"

"You think so?" Sterling asked with a smile. "I feel like most people think I'm something to run from." He added. "That's what I'm thinking, I've heard some horror stories of powerful Fae men and if they're true, then I'm more than likely better off not knowing who my father is."

Fury looked at Sterling. "I was about to start a fight, if I kept hearing that screaming. It's crazy." She said with a shake of her head. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Sterling promised her. "It could be worse, right?"

Katherine didn't even flinch or seemed bothered by the screaming, she was used to the constant noise that Manhattan brought. "Of course they did, people are so pathetic." She shook her head.

"For once, I actually agree with you on that." Sterling looked at Katherine. "Don't get used to to it though."

"That was ridiculous." Bryce shook her head and ucnovered her own pointed ears and shook her head. "Fucking Hel, I will never understand that."

"I won't either." Sterling chuckled. "Acting like that oever anyone is just pathetic."

"Are you serious? I thought we were over seeing famous people in the wild, they're literally just like you and me."

"Hmm, except they're famous so that obviously makes them better." Sterling laughed.

"people still get excited about seeing famous people? that's pretty pathetic, isn't it?"

"Apparently they do." Sterling chuckled and looked at JJ. "And yes, it is very pathetic if you ask me."

Azriel tensed when he heard the scream and couldn't help but laugh. "That's fucking pathetic if you ask me." He looked at him. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, well people get excited when they see a famous person." Sterling chuckles and nods. "I'm fine, I'll be fine. I can usually drown that noise out."

Natasha shook her head. "Are you okay?" She asked him. "Have you tried wearing ear plugs or something while you're out in Manhattan? Or just out in general?"

"I mean, sometimes the sounds are overwhelming, and I can't handle it, but most days I can just block it out. I don't really like stuff in my ears or on them, so I don't wear headphones or earplugs."

"If they gave a fuck, they'd be feeling different about everything." Adrianna looked at Sterling.

"True, but you already know that they don't care and that's where the issue lies, Adrianna."

He could't help to laugh. Didn't react much to the sound. Used to that it was loud sounds when you played hockey too "People can go wild whenever they see their favorite celebrity. They are just like us, I don't see the deal with it" He answered, shook his head "Your what now?"

Sterling looked at John and pointed to his pointed ears. "I'm part fae. I have no clue about who my biological father is, my mom won't tell me much." He says and rubs the back of his neck.

"I'd be down with it, yeah." Amber smiled at him. "That's because it has been forever since we last each other, though I guess forever is long when you're immortal, right?"

"I don't even know if I'm immortal, Amber." Sterling laughed. "I'm pretty sure Fae can be killed."

"You're only partly right, Sterling." She looked at him. "Yes, Manhattan does have a lot more to offer than Kildare, but that doesn't mate it better."

"I guess that's fair." He says with a nod. "Is there anything about Kildare you really miss that isn't here?"

Roxanne couldn't help it, she jumped at Sterling's reaction and put a hand over her heart. "You scared the hell out of me doing that." She told him and cleared her throat. "Ugh, of course they did. It was probably someone pathetic like a Real Housewife or something."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to." He apologized and looked at her. "I didn't try to listen that hard to who it was, but it probably was someone as pathetic like that."

"No, no it doesn't." He said with a laugh. "That is very true, all of it is." He added. "How are you doing though, man? Are you at least enjoying this party?"

"I always enjoy the parties." Sterling said with a shrug. "How are you doing Chuck?"

Cressida raised a brow, a faint smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. "Trying to figure out your fae side sounds a lot more interesting than whatever this is." She gestured vaguely to the room around them before letting out a soft laugh. "Though coming up short sounds frustrating. Are you bad at finding answers, or is your mysterious fae side just refusing to cooperate?"

"Well the issue is that my parents, the ones that adopted me, adopted me, don't know anything about where I came from. I haven't had the chacne to talk to anyone that is Fae either, to see if they can help." He looked at her. "Oh yeah? How long can you survive off of boredem?"
