Today I hurt myself again by tripping over a hole on the floor. This was during lunch time in a budding buffet restaurant beside my work place. Before realising and allowing what happened dawned on me, I got up, picked up my self, my plate and my bag and went to where my husband was seated. He asked what happened and if I tripped. He asked beacause some of the seating area is separated by a half wall from where the buffet dishes are located. I said yes and we proceeded to eat. What changed the situation was that no one helped me yet no one laughed at me. In spite of people who saw it just stared at me at first, I do not blame them. Maybe it was a normal response in situations as such, but at least, saying it again, they did not laugh at me. Which was the very least they can do. Some were from afar and two were actually very close but were playing Mobile Legends, so I understand their fear of being banned. Anyway, aside from that, when I entered our vehicle this morning, my husband told me that I look good today, which maybe set the mood for the day even if I am starting my day a bit late. Nonetheless, since I am in flexi time, I guess nobody actually cares as long as I comply with my 12-hour per week requirement.
