Day 7: Fake Amnesia | Ruin the Friendship​

These guys are up to their ears in PR. Which is a euphemism for spin, public attention, propaganda, reputation management. Now consider all the tactics that go into that.

Whether they’ve pissed someone off, someone close is over it and eager to out them, or their teams are trying to create an arc narrative—or most likely a combination of all three—they are playing games, trying to stay one step ahead, and CDAN would like nothing more than to spill the beans.

These people in your asks giving the benefit of the doubt, drumming up every conceivable benevolent reason, when it literally follows the pr playbook on both sides.

CDAN is an entertainment lawyer and well versed in libel law. He’s not going after people with six blinds for no reason. There are plenty of celebrities to yap about, plenty of generic descriptions he could use that would apply to many people. But he is being very specific.

You notice in the past Nic didn’t take issue with being outted by CDAN for having a pr boyfriend. We get her loud denials when CDAN calls Luke vain, but silence about the pr boyfriend. And silence about the married with a baby, globally recognized costars etc.

Because you can’t sue or make declarative statements when it’s true. But you do employ PR. You do organize favorable magazine articles where thru the discussion of chairs you imply you live together, you warn people off talking about your body, and call people watching parasocial, etc. But you don’t issue unqualified denials. Nic has an English degree. If she wanted to make declarative statements, she knows how. But there are always qualifiers, or non-sequitors, or re/misdirection.

Either our mains are losers dating losers, which would be beyond disappointing (but would make it sooo easy to walk away), or they are together and in the midst of a coverup.

And whaddaya know, CDAN has doubled down a whole bunch of times that they’re together. A lawyer, deeply versed in libel law, whose site has already outted Nic as having a pr boyfriend.

And yet many are doubting the “master strategist” moniker, or that her team could make a request of others in the industry, who also live in the same pr-heavy Hollywood ecosystem, to post some photos? And let’s not leave Luke out of this pantomime. You think the Italian influencers were by chance? Or all those magazines found A so interesting they wrote a zillion articles quoting her resume? BV and Getty went all in on her at preBaftas? Dig a little. Luke and his team are in as deep as Nic and hers.

This is literally pr/fake relationships 101 and everyone in Hollywood plays the same game. Pretending with family, sm posts, “candid” sightings, friends posting photos. Elevators, grocery stores, lime bikes, grabbing smoothies, walking down the street, getting coffee, nightclub/restaurant sightings? It’s STANDARD. There is way more fake than real in this business.

And the reverse: did you notice Luke and Nic this cycle, and especially Nic as she promotes TMFT? They are being very political, diplomatic, generic, careful in their responses. They’re being absorbed by the entertainment machine, trying not to offend anyone or reveal anything personal of substance. Almost no spontaneity, nothing new, pretending they barely know each other, not touching, attempting to rewrite history. Luke’s had a couple of accidental revealing responses but otherwise, completely unlike who we’ve known them to be for years. A striking lack of authenticity. It’s evidence of the entertainment machine more than an indicator of their relationship.

The naïveté here in so many of the asks would be cute if it weren’t so far off the mark. Cynicism is absolutely warranted in the industry. It is more fake, more sinister, more cynical than the public has any idea about.

It is a multi-billion-dollar commercial enterprise with extremely powerful players where the stakes, demands, and competition are outsized.

Intersect that with people who’ve 1) had a taste of the money, fame, perks, and opportunities, and don’t want to forego that, and 2) who’ve fallen in love with each other and a) don’t want to share that with the world and b) don’t want the perception of that to interfere with their opportunities, and 3) have made some mistakes or found themselves in circumstances that require legal protections and arrangements, and you’ve got the recipe for willing participants in the Hollywood fake pr narrative machine.

And yet so many think CDAN in his specificity is the fake one?

All I can say is if they keep doubling down, obviously trying to refute the blinds, which just makes them look all the more deceptive, someone (because there are a lot of someones 👀) is going to gleefully out them.

Not everyone is under and NDA and nobody likes being lied to, no matter how good the reason.

Managing the Shift to "Private Reality-

This bypasses the need to admit the previous PR relationship existed, as they effectively "rebrand" the timeline to fit a more palatable, romantic narrative.​

Fans as Co-conspirators-You noted that fans "always knew they were together for real anyway." Celebrities often rely on this. By confirming what the audience already believes, the fans feel validated rather than lied to, which significantly softens any potential backlash. The narrative shifts from "they lied to us" to "they protected what was theirs.

"The industry functions on the premise that audiences want to believe in the product, not the machinery behind it. By keeping the transition gradual, they avoid the "deceitful" label, betting that the public prefers a happy ending for a favorite couple over the uncomfortable truth of the PR process.

At the moment it seems like a heated mess….the article drops….people are naturally very confused because it does not sound like the Nic everyone new from the Time Article or the Harpers Bizarre women of the Year…they just would like two different people so which one is authentic? I like to think it is the women from 2024 talking about strength, friendship, privacy and being a role model and advocate for women. Not the heated mess we got in the guardian and Elle articles which has lighted and offended fans, and reduced her to some guys girlfriend. And people may say that yeah there was only 2 paragraphs…yep but it was the opening sentence and the only thing people talking about on x.

Now mic drop Elle article drops after, Luke is seen with 🐜 at play, after season 4 Part 2 drops, after the latest CDAN reminder after the months of talk about the S4 bridgerton interviews with Luke and his delightful mouth.

Riddle me this…Ahem Ms Nic Coughlan who somehow knew (oh she be lurking ) about the hickey we were talking about at the Emmys. Now the Ceremony was on the 15/09. Filming started on 16/09 hmmmm having lots of baby snuggles then? Before filming? To pinch? Ok possible but why address it if you were going to talk about grandpa.

Ok riddle me this Grandpa…..the old soul who is more mature than you….hmmm ok and wants to be in bed by 10….hmmm ok. So the video of him dancing and giving a blow job to a beer bottle is that grandpa mature vibe you are referring to. Because he is like “so so so mega mega mega”. I mean why would any even confuse Jake for anyone but an old soul because o. His IG dancing to Travis Scott in a rave screams grandpa to me…FFS.

It is interesting it is obviously clear that it is definitely the narrative they are trying to sell but it is so very hard to swallow when it is belittling to her value.

The IG fake account the mention closely watches savage and there content and are follows of 🐜 family private accounts and is followed by 🐜 employer. Now what they are saying is why is a fake account created to Hype up a wannabe GF of an actor in a (fake!!!) fan account and snoop on shipping accounts if it wasn’t a PR relationship. I mean it is ridiculous. The fuckery of it all.

I get it they will keep pushing and pushing until we all go silent. This narrative is not something that will just disappear. It does not mean I will ever believe or accept it.

A lot of ship mates are taking a siesta inside there cabins reading fanfics and taking a nap. Not because they don’t believe but because they are over the roller coaster. I don’t blame them…I would too but honestly I have nothing better to do and I am a terrible insomniac 🤣🤭

Immediately follow this with commentary on extremely serious global issues. Range is important.

6. Emphasize that you would really prefer people only talk about your work and not your body after appearing on a worldwide hit show known for its nudity.

Bring it up often and be generally repulsed by your fanbase of chubby girls.

7. Insist your boyfriend as an ‘old soul.’

This is an extremely important detail. Readers must understand that while the rest of us are bumbling through modern life, he has the quiet wisdom of a lighthouse keeper from 1892.

Despite the fact that he owns one pair of shoes that likely still have Velcro straps.

Filming was from Sep24 to May25.

Nic disappeared for a few months at the end of the WT. Luke came back from Italy abruptly in midsummer.

By fall we got chaos week, brb, drink your milk creases, heya, French toast, bless the telephone, etc. And by winter, White Mars, Lucy Hale gelato, winter sunburns, blacked out forks, reflections in glasses and picture frames, Luke secretly at Nic’s events and in her living room, and a pic that looks like Nic and Luke in the sea not far from Sorrento.

Nic is out and about all fall and winter, including PFW, glowing, looking happy, and why not, she was nominated for a bunch of prestigious stuff. Luke, well, he went dark for six months then popped up at Boss at the end of Jan25–with A (!!), just days after Nic finally declares she and Luke are “just friends.” Then we get a string of L/A sightings in Feb25. Hey, look over here!!

Then we get the SAGs in Mar25. Nic and I, Nic and I, we have babies (plural), we get to explore happily married life. Nic saying she bounced back at the iftas, the reporters asking about happy endings and babysitters. Selfies, holding hands under the table, Nic right next to Luke but cut out of after party photos. Global pandemonium. Nic follows À. We’re all friends!!

Fast forward. We get bts with them holding on to each other like life mates, possessive hands on thighs and boobs on biceps. Behind The Scenes. They looked remarkably comfortable, no? That bts was filmed in the late fall of 2024. Fall of 24, did you say? During Luke’s blackout? A couple months before Boss? Before the concussive, in your face Greek goddess pr? While he was making under the radar appearances and Nic was out there wearing black to every event? Why, yes.

S4 gives us polin in the mirror in Ep1 where Luke slides his hands around Nic’s belly. We get “my love” as Nic reaches up to kiss Luke like she’s done it a million times. We get Nic behind desks and fruit bowls. We get a host of coat dresses. And Nic bts, via Victor, holding a man’s hand. And by the end of Ep8, there is no mention, no allusion to Agatha or Thomas.

Now, whaddaya know, today is…let’s call it Part2 Part2. The second half drops, and we get Luke - surprise! (not really) - making his getaway from Bridgerton as fast as humanly possible…with A, again…in Milan, again…at Boss, again. And might I add, looking rather dilfy. To no one’s surprise, because is it really a surprise anymore? Just like Boss1, it’s “Hey, look over here!”

(Side note: no one moves on from Bridgerton promo faster than Luke Newton.)

By mid-morning, we get literal Beige Tooch. But now she’s blonde, like Nic. In a light colored suit, à la Nic during press. With Luke, who, at least so far, is doing his best to make it look like he doesn’t know her. Which seems oddly reminiscent of when he walked ahead of her and didn’t take her hand during pap1, “let’s get this done” at Boss1, and Holly escorting him out in Milan1.

(Side note: this feels eerily/creepily like Hailey Bieber with the matching clothes and poses.)

Now, if you were adding up all the clues, clocking all the patterns, what would you conclude? Even taking bagel hats and pasta pics into consideration?

We watched the WT. We’re good at math. We’ve watched S4. As Polin fans, we’ve already seen every Polin scene diced and spliced in great detail. We understand the filming calendar even better now. We’ve seen the bts. We’re the FBI. We understand marketing and we understand PR. I think atp we can say we also understand personal assistants, celebrity culture, little sisters’ friends, employees, decoys, fake dating, NDAs, and contracts.

I think the French toast was Nic gloating.

I think “I won’t let her ruin our night” was on purpose.

Who said anything about relying on blinds? It wasn't me, I just think it's funny how the blinds are saying most of what we've been saying

I'll show some of my evidence but it's not like you'll agree, you'll find a way to come up with an excuse i'm sure

It's not a coincidence that Nic did an audiobook that mirrors Lukola knowing how fans would notice the similarities

Couples sit together but they had so much distance between them

Nic went from having a bump to going back to normal in 2 weeks

Jake openly does sexual gay dancing and shows mannerisms knowing people are saying he's gay and while he's supposedly known for dating Nic and also looks more comfortable with people in the gay community then he's every looked with Nic his alleged unclaimed girlfriend

Nic knows we see this pic of her with a stroller and what we say about and she let's her friends post it multiple times and she's liked it more than once knowing we see what she likes

Luke waited until the next day to like the Nextflix post insinuating them being a married couple while using a Lukola photo dressed as Polin and the same day he wore a yellow shirt knowing the fans connected that specific color to Nic and nobody wears a plain yellow shirt and this was the only time we've seen him wear it.

Not only do they know we connect Guinness to Lukola but they know we remember this specific shirt was seen in a Lukola pic and it was cut off at the bottom as if to fit a woman who is 2 apples tall and she mentioned him being in a crop top on the WT and he decided to wear multiple Guinness shirts which was like he was screaming "look at me"

This article was random and was more about what she was wearing than what she was eating and it looked more like an excuse to point out her claddagh ring.

Nic wearing this green dress from the WT that she was last seen while with Luke while posing with ✌🏽 ✌🏽 was intentional

The misdirection of them posting about attending a show was another mirroring behavior they often do

Luke donated and posted Nic's cause with the link and ignored the little stalker girl was a choice

1 SAGs…I mean obviously right and all the interviewers that clearly knew and articles hug that went viral

2. The Tattoo with Luke matching shirt followed up by the Frances Ha video

3. Luke with his “My Love Story” always speaking about Polin and Polin baby in the first person.

4. When Nic went on vacay yo Aus Luke went MIA only to resurface when she did. He then turned up with a shirt in HoM rehearsal that was clearly for Aus. As well as a very ambiguous Pap pic

5. At the BAFTAs clearly separated but when they were asked as individuals what their favourite show was to binge in was MAFs Aus which Nic pics of in Aus.
