Okay, hi. First of all, I know I'm going to get torn apart for this, and I'm ready. But this is something that I think needs to be said in the fandom.

The second thing I would like to say is that I respect all shippers of all ships. I've been in the canon ships and I've been a crack shipper. I've been a slash shipper as well as a het shipper. I go back and forth. And while I don't agree with all shippers on their ships, I do respect your opinion. I just may not agree with it, and that is okay.

That being said, I do not respect shippers tearing other people apart. First of all, these are tv shows we're watching and while I am as passionate as the next person, there is no reason on either side to curse someone else out. There is not reason to retaliate or to write "burn in hell" or to call someone else names. Guys these are literally characters from a tv show. We're all real people and these people are fake. On behalf of the Karamel shippers to the Supercorp shippers, I would like to apologize if there has been malice on our side. I do think Supergirl could easily be bisexual, as she is in the comics. In my opinion, she is better with Mon-El than she is with Lena simply because I like their platonic friendship. However, that does not mean o don't respect your ship, as long as you respect mine, though I may not agree with it.

As for the Supercorp shippers, I would hope the same goes for you guys- we've all been nasty and awful to each other but I think we all know that we all just really like this tv show and there are ways we can like it, ship who we want, and not tear each other apart for it.

If you've made it to the end of this, congrats. If not, well, I'm sorry. I'm not trying to make anyone mad. I just.... I'm tired of fighting. I'm tired of the malice. I don't honestly like being called a Nazi or a homophobe or a Kara hater because of who I ship on a tv show. It's just a show. And I'm sure Supercorp shippers don't like being called names either. We're all good people: we just have different opinions and that's okay.
