Here's this to add to that statement
It doesn't help that Mario is viewed as a rival in a way to diddy because of donkey kong so that also adds to it with DK loving luigi but being a hater to mario, and for mariokong it can also just be diddy being jealous which I find adorable
Now I've seen a lot of people talk about bowuigi and mariokong, and mareach, and more. But I got another ship to add. Sure they interact like never, but just look at how dk looks at luigi, and just imagine their dynamic it'd be so dumb and sweet.....anyone got any names for this ship?
