I was so busy during May I barely got any mayblade done but wanted to post them here. I did Sophie for Day 10 Fashion, Hikaru and Madoka for Lanterns, Friendship, Piercings (if you squint you can see Hikaruβs piercings), and Youkai (I didnβt really know what to make them do I put them in some modern kimonos). The last one I was able to do was Yuuki for Sky, Good, and Unpopular Character (dear god the sub-Reddit love to hate him for dumb reasons, (Destined and Future if I bullshitted it enough). Iβve been working a lot on my Art Fight Characters and other stuff but I hope to do more next year. Everyone had some amazing art this year :>.

Prompt: Fairy-tale
I went with creating my own fairy-tale instead of trying to choose just one of my favorites. This is in the form of a picture book(which is now an official WIP). But I have the written form completed which will be under the cut.
Page 1
Once upon a time, there was an honest boy named Kenta.
One day, when Kenta was exploring the forest, he found white-maned dragon. The dragon's leg was wounded by hunters seeking to use his hide to grow rich. The dragon managed to escape with his life.
Page 2
Kenta sought to help the dragon. He took his jacket and approached him. But the dragon did not trust Kenta.
"Leave," the dragon growled, "Or I will burn you where you stand. You won't get my scales or my claws."
"I just want to help you," the boy said, "Once I wrap your wound, I'll leave."
The dragon still did not believe him, but didn't protest further as Kenta came closer. Once the wound was cleaned with water from his bottle and wrapped with his yellow jacket, Kenta left as promised.

Some time later, while Kenta was exploring, a pack of wolves surrounded him. Kenta tried to fight back with a stick. But the stick could not fight wolves like a sword. He braced himself for attack as the stick he was using to defend himself broke.

Just as the wolves closed in, the white-maned dragon descended from the sky and roared. The wolves scattered with frightened whimpers. Once they were gone, the dragon turned to the boy.
"You kept your promise," the dragon said, "And I don't like owing people. My life, for yours."

The dragon's selfless act to save another's life broke the curse that had a hold over his body. The dragon transformed into a human boy with white hair just like the dragon's mane. The white-haired boy lifted his hands in surprise. He had been under the curse for many, many years and had long forgotten the terms to break it or the circumstances for which he was cursed. Long ago, he had been a selfish prince and crossed the wrong the person who had cursed him as punishment.

Kenta was just as surprised. He had no idea the dragon was originally human.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Ryuga," the white-haired boy reluctantly said.
"My name is Kenta," Kenta said, "It's nice to meet you!"
From then on, Kenta followed Ryuga as they traveled the world together, side-by-side.
