Hi, hello! You can call me Stellastra. This is my art blog I made in September 2024, but I've been on tumblr since 2014 on my personal blog.
To tell you a bit about me: I like to draw, play video games, take photos, work out, and collect historical fashion books.
I'm admittedly a fairly shy and private person, so my posts will almost strictly be related to art and/or my OCs. However, feel free to send me a message, whether it's about me, my art, my OCs, or if you just wanted to drop in and say hello.
All I ask is for some basic cordiality if I don't know you.
Some Ground Rules:
I make art based on mature games/genres. My content is intended for an adult audience.
Reposting my art off-site is fine, so long as I'm credited/it links back to me. For example, if I drew you something and you want to add it in your OC's reference compilation on Toyhouse or wherever, that's fine. Something as simple as "art by stellastra [insert link to my blog]" is all I ask for.
I can't believe I have to say this, but just be a decent human being. It's not that hard. I will not engage in petty discourse openly nor in DMs. I will ignore any asks that smell like engagement bait.
I am not doing commissions. I am not offering them nor do I intend on doing so in the foreseeable future.
My favorite video games are:
The Elder Scrolls series (particularly Morrowind)
Guild Wars (both GW1 and GW2. GW1 is my childhood jam~)
Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magick Obscura (a D&D-like fantasy setting paired with the 19th century aesthetic? *chef's kiss*)
Fire Emblem series (especially Shadows of Valentia and Three Houses, crossing my fingers for a proper remake of the Jugdral games)
Halo series (Bungie-era, haven't played any 343 entry since 4)
Tomb Raider series (the Legend games are my childhood classics)
More random fun facts about me I'm willing to share (if you wanted to know for some reason):
I'm half-Filipina (Igorot, specifically Kalinga) and half-white (apparently of mostly British ancestry, according to a 23andMe test my dad did).
I was born and raised in the the southeast USA.
Unfortunately, I can only speak English (+ some rusty high school-level French). I want to learn Tagalog or Itneg (my mom's native language) someday.
I have pet cats :3
I can safely say that I really started drawing when I was around 10 years old, when I was doodling in the margins of my schoolwork in the fourth grade.
I love watching 'so bad, it's good' movies like The Room, Troll 2, Samurai Cop, Neil Breen movies, etc.
I have an unhealthily large collection of historical fashion books. Most of my collection is 19th century European stuff, but I'm always looking for books of an earlier time or even non-European cultures.
If you're looking for any specific resource regarding historical clothing, feel free to shoot me a message and I can point you to some resources for reference material. Should you need something specific, I'm willing take a look in my collection for you. I JUST LOVE TALKING ABOUT HISTORICAL CLOTHING!!!
Well, with that out of the way, it's a pleasure to meet y'all~

October 10, 2024 - Older Arcanum sketches, when I was figuring out how to draw Magnus and Raven in my art style. Don't really like how I drew Loghaire in hindsight, even if my intent was to draw his younger self. Also bonus tiny space-filler Virgil.
November 8, 2024 - My Living One and Raven are both dark-haired elf ladies with a similar side-part featured in their in-game portraits, so I was making an effort to differentiate them in my art style. I don't think they look alike much these days, but I was coming off the heels of art block back then.

[April 5, 2025] - A sketch from last year of Baumer, the rifle-wielding half-ogre mentioned in the in-game book, The Hunters Hunted.
I remember being befuddled on how tall half-Ogres are. Their manual entry says they're 10' tall but the intro cutscene + in-game sprites say another thing. Maybe they're that tall if they stand up straight, considering that they're hunched + have bent knees in their sprites?
Arcanum Manual: Half-ogres, then, show both sides of their parentage quite clearly. In body they are only slightly smaller than pure-blooded ogres, having a height which averages roughly 120 inches [10 ft], or some 300 centimeters [9.8 ft].

I’m running a quick commission sale to get back into the swing of things! Also really could use the extra help money is tight this year! I appreciate you all <3
Hey everyone! As an update I still have my commission sale going on. I have a few pieces I am finishing this week then I will add more to my schedule. But if anyone else is interested go ahead and message and I will add you to my to do! Thank you so much. I am very broke right now and everyone’s support means so much to me. It’s hard times being an artist 🫡 take care my friends
More Arcanum fic! \o/ In which I actually tried writing Virgil and am crossing my fingers I got him right. 😅 [1220 words]
It was her good fortune, Tabitha mused, that she had been wearing sturdy shoes.
It wasn't the sort of thing one usually did for social events, but the black boots happened to be the prettiest footwear she'd packed. Given the amount of walking from the crash site to Shrouded Hills, even with the night's rest, her feet were very grateful. And she was relieved as well; she was fairly certain Virgil would combust on the spot if she developed blisters and needed to be carried.
"Not to nag," she began, breaking a stretch of silence, "but how much further do you reckon it is?"
Virgil glanced around, making note of landmarks and gnawing his lower lip as he mentally calculated. "Perhaps an hour? That" --he pointed to a distant rocky silhouette-- "is the mine outside town. So you could say it's in sight."
Tabitha nodded, perking up at the comment. "It's a mining town?" That was something at least vaguely familiar in this alien land.
"It..." Virgil hesitated. "Yes, but that's been... falling off lately, from what I understand, so they've been leaning more into their agricultural production. Why?"
"Do they... mm. What kind of standards do they have?" She ran a hand down her singed skirts. "I'm worried I'll be an eyesore in my... current state."
He looked over, darting glances at said "state" without lingering too long, which made her smile. "Oh, there's nothing-- That is, you look..."
The tempation to tease grew with the protracted silence of him trying to be polite and encouraging without being presumptuous or lying through his teeth. Millie would tease. Presented with a scruffy and overawed man ready to pledge devotion within two minutes of meeting her? Who thought her a reincarnation of his god? Oh, yes, Millie Booker would have fun with that.
It was Virgil's good fortune Tabitha was not her friend. "I look like I survived a zeppelin crash," she supplied after he floundered a moment longer. "It's a bit hard to miss." She ran her hands over her skirts again, fussed at a rip in one sleeve. "I suppose I'm just wondering if this is the sort of place that will make a fuss."
"Not especially," Virgil said, hands shoved in the pockets of his duster and still darting small glances her way. (If he was wondering if she was real, well, so was she.) "A-At least I don't think. They'll notice, but you shouldn't get run out of town for it. No one really bothered me or Elder Joachim, despite our being strangers." His brow furrowed. "Of course, the zeppelin crash might change that, make people more inquisitive."
Her chatelaine rattled in the folds of her skirt. Tabitha reached to curl her hand around the repurposed compact. "I suppose I should not mention the ring or how it came to my possession? Given we've already encountered one... suspicious character."
"Keeping mum on it would be wise under the circumstances," Virgil nodded, one hand coming free of the duster to scratch the back of his neck. "At least until we've spoken to--"
"Elder Joachim," Tabitha finished. She cocked her head. "If I may say so, you seem to be deferring to him on a lot."
Both hands back in his duster pockets, he shrugged and kicked at the dusty ground. "He's much more knowledgable about the Panarii faith than I, I-I simply don't wish to misinform you about anything important."
She could understand that. And since she was apparently a reincarnated god tasked with defeating great and nebulous Evil, accurate information would be a boon. "I see. Tell me more about Shrouded Hills, then."
Virgil looked sidelong at her. "Anything in particular, my lady?"
Alright, the 'my lady' she could get used to, if that wasn't too bold of her. "You said it's a mining town, but having difficulties at the moment. What sort of stores and establishments do they have? It sounded like a small place from the way you talked about it."
"It is, but they still have a blacksmith, a bank, a healer..." he reeled off a few more, "and, of course, the inn."
Tabitha's shoulders sagged at one notable absence from the list. "No tailor?"
"Not that I saw." Virgil shook his head. "I wasn't on the hunt for one, though. Why...?"
"Well, I'd like to find something more presentable to wear," she laughed wryly. "Something that won't draw attention or questions, if we're trying to go unnoticed."
"Ah. There was a general store, we- you could see if they sell clothing, I suppose. It wouldn't be high quality or a perfect fit..."
"But it would be clean and undamaged." Tabitha fussed some more at her ripped sleeve. Mother would have a fit at her wearing something untailored, but the soot was making her eyes water. And without the bustle, her skirt kept dragging on the ground. Amongst other difficulties. "I'll look when we get there, thank you." A small smile tugged her lips. "After we speak to Elder Joachim, of course."
The back of Virgil's neck colored, but on the whole he did an admirable job not blushing. "Have I been that one-tracked?"
"Mmhm," Tabitha hummed lightly, skirting a pothole. She was grateful for the support of her boots as her feet sank into the grassy turf. "Understandably so, with the circumstances. But yes, I keenly feel the urgency of this conversation to be had."
More of the town was visible now, with the distance they'd covered. Mostly silhouettes, true, but the downhill path at least gave a good view of where the boundaries lay. It was smaller than she expected, even with Virgil's description and how... rural the general vicinity seemed to be. She wondered what brought him and Elder Joachim out this way, but she'd interrogated the man enough. That was for later. Or for Elder Joachim. She could add it to the list. At least she wouldn't need to remember that list much longer; they were making good time.
"Then I shan't... press the issue further, my lady." The sheepish comment pulled her back.
"Well, we're almost there, so it shouldn't be necessary either way, should it?" Tabitha pointed out. "We can speak of other things."
Virgil arched a brow. "Such as?"
"Oh, I'm sure we can find something to discuss. We should get to know each other better, shouldn't we...? Not looking for deep, dark secrets or anything like that," she clarified when his shoulders tensed. Not when we've known each other less than a full day, at least. "I was thinking more along the lines of... simple things; how do you like your tea--or coffee, if you prefer, where are you from, has anything exciting--other than me falling from the sky--happened recently?"
He relaxed, though not as much as she would have expected. "Well, that's fine." He flashed a sheepish smile. "I do have to admit curiosity about where the Living One called--calls?--home."
The title made something odd and feathery squirm in her chest, but Tabitha was homesick enough to brush it aside, breaking into a grin as she began chattering about the virtues of her birthplace. She'd been talking twenty minutes before she realized how neatly he'd turned the conversation back to her.
It was Virgil's good fortune she wasn't the type to press if he'd done it on purpose.

My official Art Fight 2026 profile! I'll be on Team Mystery! ❓🔍
Here's my profile! -> artfight.net/~stellastra 💗
IMPORTANT: I'll be wrapping up a summer course during the first half of July. As such, I likely won't be initiating any attacks during that time (and if I do, I'll be slower than usual). Depending on how many attacks I get in the meantime, I may spend the rest of the month focusing on getting revenges done.
There didn't seem to be anything especially dazzling about the ring... No air of magical power, good or ill. No sense of small hidden compartments. Just a ring.
Then why had it been so important the gnome ... had spent his last breaths pressing it on her? Why the warnings about a child and an 'evil one'?
