Hello, I do appologize for the long wait - this last week has been very busy and exhausting, but on with the reading! I believe your parents don't want you to pursue acting as a Career because they don't think you would be able to make it into your whole Life Career, like, they probably think you would get some auditions here and there, but nothing that would help you for that long.
