He paused for a moment. In his mind, her problems had nothing to do with him, not much did really. Though there was the fact that she was potentially a future ally which made him think harder though he didn’t take too long thinking about what he wanted to do. With so many variables of this ridiculous war up in the air, it was better to have more friends than enemies. 

✧ "I...don't know how to pronounce it but it has to be somewhere around the area, right? It's this" ✧ Searching in her pockets, she retrieves a piece of paper that is soon placed on his hands with a somewhat readable phrase: 'Casa Il Rosario'. Remaining hopeful has never been so difficult but she still tries to not make this a burden when there's a minimal chance to achieve a good outcome.

Mahiro let out an exaggerated sigh as he eyed the girl. He had pretty much gotten it down to a formula that went “(Japanese x Tourist) + Rome = Master” but she was so haphazard in her actions he was starting to wonder if she even fit the bill. He decided that he’d stick to her for now and try to figure her out later depending on how long it took to get to later.

Link smiled at her, breaking into a walk as he looked around the streets for a restaurant that looked promising.

✧ "You gotta have a name, everyone does! Or else how I am supposed to call you?" ✧ The sole idea of having to come up with a name for her new friend was tempting but at the very same time it didn't feel right -- why he was hiding it? 'Maybe he has a funny or embarrassing name.' If anything, her thoughts wandered to the most obnoxious assumptions except believing he was involved in the carnage that is to come.

It still struck a dissonant chord in Satsuki’s memory, to be approached without being deferred to. So used to gazing down upon others—it was truly a foreign experience.

✧ "Yes, we'll find a good place to eat too! It'll be my treat!" ✧ Nothing wrong on pouring some of her saving on something like this, right? She took his palm into her hands, shaking it in a rather excitable fashion. Perhaps the fact how easily sidetracked she managed to get would be non-beneficial for the incoming war but said thought ended as a last priority for the inexperienced magus, too busy focusing on the many possibilities Rome offered.

An unwanted pause fell, her smile slowly loosening and excitement was substituted with concern. She almost forgot! How long has she been around?! It hasn't been a whole day and still..!

A yelling voice caught Link’s long ears, and he turned his head behind him with a jerk. He pointed at his chin, giving the loud woman a puzzled look.

✧ "You too? Aww...That's sad, I am very hungry..." ✧ Ran's disappointment renders as obvious, a remarked pout formed on her features. What a shame, she was already excited for Rome and now this guy dampens her plans for the day! Or would they not? Focusing little on the strange details and coincidences that brought this meeting, she quickly shooks her face and offers again an excitable expression.
