OKAY NO BUT IN ALL SERIOUSNESS I will probably? Rewatch fmab over winter break and be here-ish? Although college has started and I really haven’t had time to juggle multiple blogs, so I’ve really only had time to manage Shinji on a regular basis. He will probably become my main blog and the others will be pretty semi-active. I’d like to do things here again just!! Know it will be really slow.

{{ I’m alive...sort of...I saw the fma community was reviving on my dash, so I thought I’d just give a little status update. I’m still mainly here and here. The former has an fma verse that I would love to flesh out more. Uh? I’ll probably rewatch fmab over spring break in order to get the juices going again, because I love Al and I love all the friends I’ve made in this fandom and I don’t want to abandon that. I’m also on skype and discord, so please feel free to ask for those if we’re mutuals.

I guess the other big thing is, save for some lengthier / plotted things, I’ll probably do a mass thread drop here and start fresh? Like, I’ll keep stuff that’s good for character development or that has a clear direction, but otherwise I’ll probably drop the more uncertain ones, just to keep my load down. I have over 30 threads on Shinji and I would rather that not happen on my other blogs, too, haha.

{{ I’m so sorry I’ve been absent for a while, I promise I’m not dead! Al has just been kind of quiet as a muse lately. I’ve mostly been over here and over here, and the former has an fma verse, so feel free to follow over there if you want. Once things kind of slow down school-wise I’ll try to get back on here. I haven’t lost muse for Al, I really haven’t, I still love him to death and I couldn’t possibly abandon this blog. I just need a good rewatch to get going here again.

{{ Yo I am SO sorry for the lack of. Like. Anything here lately. I would really love to get more done here but I also don’t want to overwhelm myself like what happened recently!! I might do a little more cleanup of old threads, or try to tackle some of my shorter drafts in the near future. I do have finals next week and then winter break after that tho! Granted, I’ll be working on another college app ( thank you, based [redacted uni name], for not using common app, really appreciate it ). But I should at least have more time freed up to balance a couple more blogs like I’ve. Not. Been doing lately.

Also, I’m on skype and I can totally RP there, although I’m fairly selective in giving it out. Buuuut, don’t let that deter you from asking! Skype RP is nice and convenient and doesn’t require all the crazy aesthetics that tumblr RP has, and it fits in my pocket, so y’know.

Ed hated being made to sit still, it felt like a waste of time. So now having Alphonse plead for him to stop and let him look at his injury, sort of made him feel a bit trapped.

He knew he couldn’t get out of this, Alphonse was always too persistent… But he also hated having to sit through getting wounds cleaned and patched up as well.

With a sigh, he averts his golden gaze away from his little brother. 

“It’s probably fine…” He grumbles, though if Alphonse were to make a move to look at it now, he probably wouldn’t move, like a defeated child that still wanted to complain.

                                    dejectedly; he half-expected this, but Ed could be so stubborn that it became frustrating even to Alphonse at times. ❝ Probably? But you’ve barely even looked at it since you got it in the fight. She covered her mouth with the back of her hand as she laughed at Al’s old habit, effectively coating it with the flour. They did always say old habits die hard and she didn’t expect this to be any different for him. The pie was slipped into the oven with a small hum from herself before she dusted off her hands. “ Thanks! Hopefully it tastes just as great. ” With a slight tug, she unknotted the apron, placing it on the back of a chair as she considered the time.“ Not yet, it still needs to cool off a bit… Do you want to try some of it? It’s chicken and dumplings! ” Another grin sprouted as she moved to the pot and removed the lid, stirring it slowly.

two headcanons you have for your muse that you never told anyone:

After the Promised Day, Alphonse suffers fleeting, but chronic insomnia. It’s intermittent, but following periods of normal sleep patterns he will have periods where he cannot and will not sleep until it gets to be three or four in the morning and his body refuses to keep functioning. This is primarily because of nightmares, but also because for years, his body never slept.

Other complications following his post-Promised Day recovery include a weakened immune system, organ deficiencies, dry skin, respiratory deficiencies, a weakened range of motion, and weakened stamina. ( I’ll write a more in-depth version of this one day, but that’s the abridged version. )

       “Well… I don’t think Den would have a problem with it. She’s as friendly and sweet as they come, but… Winry has enough to deal with, don’t you think?” Ed could seem a little demanding at times, but he felt like he already asked enough of her. Requesting that she take care of a cat on top of it all, well… there were better options.

       “Though… if I were to come up with a name for this thing…” reaching towards his brother’s arms, Ed took the cat into his hands and gave it a look over. He didn’t hate the thing, in fact; he hoped the two of them would find a good home for it. Even if it meant poor Al had to part with it, “Bone Crusher. Yeah, something tough like that.”

       Looking back up to his brother, Ed shook his head a bit, trying to get back on track, “Anyway, let’s get going. We can start over at Eastern Command. And if we hit a dead end there, we can just ask around and see if anyone knows someone who take it.”

                                    Still, Bone Crusher or not, the cat took a quick liking to Ed as they walked along with him in his arms; there was the sound of loud, content purring as he rubbed his face against Ed’s chest. The sight had the younger brother practically buzzing with warm, fuzzy feelings.
