hell kicked me out.

he’s staring up at the sky  ,  crystal stars shining as he watches them with glee with the smell of burning wood wafting to his nose  .  sitting up slowly before rising from the ground and brushing off the dirt  ,  suddenly he’s in the home with flames surrounding him  .  “  are you don with your petty arson  ?  ”  he asked  ,  his eyes looking over at his brother  who seemed enthused by by the flames  .  “  surely  ,  we didn’t leave hell to be burning empty homes  .  i’m bored  . ”   it was said like a younger brother  ,  wanting to drag his older one away from whatever was pre-occupied his mind and if there was one thing griffin liked  ,  it was getting his way  .   eyes peering over at his brother again  ,  fingers playing with the large flames  “  wanna play a game  ?  ”  //  @xqvietones

“just let her breathe,” she spoke gently. elodie had taken a more behind the scenes approach when it came to the student government. ella claire and griffin were the co-presidents, and she was more like a chief of staff. she took care of making sure their calendars were put together, made sure to set up any meetings people wanted, and she helped when it came to relations with the student body. “and definitely DON’T tell her you think she’s in a mood. that’ll only make things worse you know it will.” she grabbed onto is arm as soon as ms was mentioned. “this is NOT about you know who.”

“if i don’t let her breathe i’m afraid of what she’d do.” it was a joke but he also know how uptight his sister could get if things didn’t run her way.  griffin was thankful for his friendship with elodie and all she did for him and ella claire because if he’ll be honest he doesn’t think he’d survive the whole president life without her organization and between being highly confused in his classes, it was a good weight off his shoulders.  “i don’t feel like getting my hair pulled, elodie.” he chuckled as he ran his fingers through his hair and continued to chuckle at the other’s reaction. “what’s it about?”

SHE FINDS IT ODD that the moment she looks up because she feels like someone is watching her through the bookshelf, they quickly put the book back in its place. she pauses, blinking as she tries to register who it is, and a beat later her stomach flutters with excitement when she realizes it’s griffin archer on the other side of the bookshelf. for a moment, she panics as she tries to figure out what to do. surely it was just the timing, right? there’s no way he could’ve been intentionally looking at her. before she can second-guess herself, she reaches forward through the bookshelf to pull the book between them out, grinning playfully when she sees he’s still there on the other side, wide-eyed like a deer in headlights. as he stammers, she can’t help the giggle that escapes her. “hi,” she smiles warmly, holding the book to her chest as she walks to meet him on the other side of the bookshelf. “sorry if i… um… startled you,” she says sheepishly, holding out the book she had taken from the shelf. “were you going to take this?”

oceana hudson has this everlasting effect on him, nathaniel griffin archer; she could merely smile and his heart raced ten times faster or look his way and he was ready to pass out in nervousness.  his own eyes locked with hers, mind racing and screaming to not make a fool of himself while he momentarily chewed on the front of his sweater before letting out a breath and smiling brightly at the other. say something griffin ! he had opened his mouth again, no words coming out before closing it and looking down at his feet. “it’s - um - it’s - um.” he stuttered out, eyes closing for a split second as he tried to dig for any ounce of confident left in him to respond. he lifted his head up again, “it’s fine.”  a final response, fingers in his pocket clutched in a fist as he tried to control his own nervousness around the other.  “n-no.” he let out a small cough.  “it was the wrong book. i - i was just - i - nevermind.”  he let out another breath, eyes searching around for something to ease him back to himself but nothing seemed to do that. his eyes land back at the girl and he’s panicked again, thinking about how much of a loser the girl probably thought he was. “i - yeah.”

ELODIE: i always forget nathaniel

ELODIE: oh this are biggies

ELODIE: 1) she's legitimate ROYALTY

ELODIE: 2) i don't know if she's into girls

GRIFFIN: let's keep it that way

GRIFFIN: 1) what about it?

ELODIE: her name is mary scott she's new

ELODIE: there is one small problem

ELODIE: two* small problems actually

GRIFFIN: ooo a double name

GRIFFIN: i would relate but i hate nathaniel

ELODIE: i can feel it, and i am ignoring it

ELODIE: shit i didn't even ASK
