Taxidermy, collecting dead things (won't be posting about this unless asked specifically, and if so it'll be tagged accordingly. Don't worry about dead stuff appearing on my blog.)
Reading, writing - the usual. I read a lot, I write a lot.
Art & other creative medias. I love doing crafts and traditional art too, even if it's too rare for me to share.
Singing. I'm not good at it, but it's fun and I love to do covers on occasion I never upload LOL.
Cooking. I love traditional german home cooking, especially from around the area I grew up in.
Languages & cultures. I love endulging in my own local culture & language (which is almost extinct, so I'm re-learning it), as well as learning about new cultures and seeking awareness about their struggles. I'm heavily interested in indigenous cultures around the world & their history.
Collecting in general. Taxidermy isn't the only stuff I have in my apartment, I also collect old books (my most treasured one is a US bible from the 1816s and shakespeare collections from the 1600s), gemstones, incense, vinyl records, figurines, plushies (especially of my favorite blorbos), alcohol bottles (even if I don't drink them), anything bunny/rabbit/fox/owl/opossum/sheep themed (my partner collects goats and fennecs) and pokemon cards.

Tbh I'm a firm believer that I do not need a DNI. People will interact with you regardless, and I've stopped caring about what other people like or dislike a long time ago. If someone comes across my blog and follows me, I'm not going to check if they're a bad person or if their ethic and moral values align with mine - that'd be a waste of time and frankly just more frustration for me to be met with potentially bad people on the daily.
So I don't really care about someone's values if they're simply interacting with my blog on a surface level (reblogging, liking, following, commenting publically). I draw the line at private contact if someone's a person I cannot accept in my space & I'll make that clear.
Which are normal human boundaries. So no, you won't find a DNI here in it's usual sight. But I'd prefer if you do not contact me privately (for whatever reason) if you're ethically defending shit like pedophilia, racism, any type of queerphobia/transphobia, facism etc. The stuff I feel like is common sense to be aversed towards.
I couldn't care less about fictional infighting, wether that be about headcanons, fanwork, ships or whatever. If you don't like the ships I work with I don't care. Just block or mute me.
Any "hate mail" or shit will be blocked and deleted, just pretend I replied with a quirky "cool story bro, I still dated your mom" reply.

OKAY SO UHM. ignoring all counterpoints in terms of their biological compatibility any child of TCAS!Jax & Pomni would be the most mental freak out there. talk about dad with no fear of death and mom who wants to die constantly but can't - any child of theirs is gonna be responsible for at least 2 attempts at detonating an explosive in a public area before the age of 16 i fear.
TCAS!Funnybunny kids are going to become everybody's problem. Their babysitter? A steel reinforced box containing whatever the fuck these kid(s) would be up to. Probably illegal things. But like, the sane kind of freak as well. They know their capabilities and they'll put it to use well, but in an societal unwell kind of way y'know?
i can't see any funnybunny kid actually that's well behaved and nice. even from a canon Jax x Pomni standpoint these 2 would make gremlin kids.
for the record im not technially 100% anti-AI, in the sense that its a broad category of tech being lumped under one umbrella term so it feels over-zealous to say i hate all of it all the time forever. but i also think trying to discuss what it actually IS good for is difficult right now when i cant take one step without something trying to convince me to use chatgpt to summarize my life and speed up my hobbies and turn my friends into chatbots and optimize my life into oblivion. i am certain there is nuance to the topic but can we stop cramming the square peg into the round hole before you start trying to sell me on the legitimate benefits of the square peg. please.
here's my super-quick, easy-to-digest summary that i use when i can't spend more than like 15 seconds on it but need someone to know the basic distinctions:
generative AI - bad evil AI. chatbots, LLMs, image generators, etc. this the one that steals shit.
analytical AI - helpful medical AI. this the one that helps detect cancer early.
game "AI" - fake AI. 100% human created and dictated. this the one that determines game mob behavior n stuff.
losing the battle with my own self-control so will briefly comment and say that categorizing certain types of ai as straightforwardly good and other types as "bad evil," even for the sake of summary, doesn't really hold water. just to give two counterexamples to the distinctions drawn above, large language models ("evil") are being used by human rights groups to parse huge datasets about police abuse while analytical ai ("helpful") is also the kind of ai that animates facial recognition software and the increasingly ubiquitous searchable license plate databases that police are using to stalk people. the goodness or badness of a given ai tool has less to do with its type and more to do with things like scale and scope, transparency, ownership, and contextual application.

How did you get so good at drawing animals/their specific animal features? Was it through studying pictures on Pinterest, using anatomy guides, etc..? Or something else entirely? Because I really am enamored with the way you draw animal features. 😊
Would you say a sketch is one of the most important parts of your art? As in, I know a lot of people have very painterly styles that work well off of ignoring line-art together, but I feel like you have very expressive line-art you don’t usually render over. I’m not very good at line-art personally, but I’m very keen on trying to learn from your work.

1.) How did you get so good at drawing animals/their specific animal features?
The answer might be very boring, but it's all a case of studying animals in general - not just the ones you're very drawn to art-wise. A lot of animals (especially from the same genus) have similar structures, especially in their faces. When you break it down, it's often a matter of eye placement/sizing/shape, snout shape and ear placement which defines how, for example, a fox is differentiated from a wolf and a cheetah from a lion. Once you identify and study these features by breaking them down into their base shapes, you can easily reproduce and adjust them into your own style. "Learn the rules to break them" applies heavily here, though that doesn't mean you have to perfectly replicate the features first before you can stylize them. But it certainly helps a lot to know what you're stylizing before you do it.
Simplifying these features also helps identifying them - I highly recommend looking for tutorials on how to draw specific animals and study how they break down and simplify the facial planes and features!
I also use references for almost all of my poses & animal artworks, drawing inspiration from real life and then stylizing it to my liking. c:

2.) Would you say a sketch is one of the most important parts of your art?
As someone who rarely works with lineart, the sketch is definitely one of my most important parts - if the sketch doesn't look good, the rendering won't save it, unless I basically redo entire section(s). Therefore, if the sketch's not working out, the final image might as well also not work out as entirety. Happy sketch, happy artist :D A good sketch for me doesn't even need much rendering to be well-rounded.
Sometimes, a good sketch can replace the best lineart (head nodding emoji)
