There needs to be more drama where most of the characters are over the age of 50. I want to watch two mortal enemies that have had beef with each other for like 45 years, and they still want to fucking kill each other, but as much as they both fucking hate it, they now have mutual grandchildren.

So many grown adults out there going, "The internet should be safe for my children," with all the brazenness of someone walking into a bar and saying, "You need to stop serving alcoholic drinks because I want to drop my children off here all day while I'm at work." rewriting bbc merlin where nothing changes except merlin actually marries freya and she becomes a recurring character. appearing whenever merlin needs to talk to someome about magic but doesn't feel like dealing with kilgharrah so he takes a boat out to the lake and spends time with his lake wife. sometimes he doesn't even need advice and just wants to hang out. she is tied to bodies of water so even when he's out in the countryside for some reason or another he can talk to her if there's a river or creek or pond or really anything nearby

you solve the mystery of what to have for dinner one night and you think "hell yeah case closed forever" WRONG there is a dinner mystery the next night too

The worst trope ever is actually when character A starts falling for a newly introduced character who is obviously suspicious/evil which character B, who is often character A’s love interest, notices. and when character A is confronted about it they lash out and claim that character B is just jealous (and it probably does start as that), cue the end where the new characters evilness is revealed.
