I write fanfiction, make fanart, drop occasional analysis/hot takes, and ramble about my personal life.

Some of my favorite fandoms are Smosh, The Quarry, Haikyuu, and Dan and Phil. I post whatever I'm currently thinking about, not any one fandom. So this is a place of variety!

Some people found that the ai Claude leaves signs in the code of a fic if text is directly pasted from its site. This doesn't mean people can't format it out, but it does mean that anyone in a rush may leave evidence of their untagged ai usage. They then made a skin that turns fics red if these signs are in the code (Works best if fic is in entire fic page not chapters) and found proof of use of Claude in some significant fics.

It is important to say that while I and many other people in the fanfiction/fanart space are very against the use of gen ai, this skin is not meant to be used to harass these people. The issue is when they try to not tag their ai usage or deny it, preventing readers from having an honest experience and being able to choose whether to engage with ai or not. This defeats the whole point of ao3's filtering system.

All this to say, please do not use this to engage in harassment or discourse that will further encourage hidden ai usage, but I have typed up the code for the skin. (I found it difficult to paste from the original doc and thought this might be more accessible) It is untested, and my first time copying something like this, but I typed exactly what I saw in the original.
